Hello,

We are visiting WDW April 21-28 and in making plans I noticed that neither the Once Upon a Time projection show nor the Star Wars fireworks are listed on the park schedules during our visit.

Is this a case of looking too far in advance and it will probably be added before we go or Disney not running the shows because it's low season?

We've always visited during the busier summer season so we've never had issues with shows not running during our visit.

Thanks in advance for any insight!

I hope you're right. It would be super disappointing to miss the new shows we haven't seen yet.

Far, FAR too early to see final events and hours.

Don't expect accuracy until 2-4 weeks in advance.
It's the "new normal" for WDW hours posting.

Hi there, we have a trip February 3, 2017 and I'm noticing the same thing with the once upon a time show - the app shows no scheduled times. Does anyone know if the shows will be running during feb3-10? Thx!!

It would be very UNlikely that they would NOT be running OUaT.
The show is all set up, it's new, and it costs nearly nothing to perform.

And, :welcome: to the DISboards, TammyAnthony!

Is anyone else a little disappointed with Once Upon a Time?

I really liked Celebrate the Magic. It was wild, energetic, and felt like a big party, true to its name. The name is Once Upon a Time might better for little kids, but seems to lack the grand spectacle and energy. Having Mrs. Potts tell Chip various bedtime stories is a cute idea, but it's literally saying that it's time to go to bed. If I were a parent, trying to soothe my overexcited, hopped-up-on-sugary-snacks-kid, I might appreciate this at 7:30pm.

But the previous show made me feel more like, "Heck yeah! Let's get up and rally for more Magic Kingdom fun!"

I often find it not showing up on the schedule, especially if your looking on the app. But since last year, they aren't that far ahead on the schedule anymore. Yes we all hate it, you need to plan but they don't give you the info you need to actually plan.

I'll be there the same week you are Pongo. And I'm watching for the same stuff! I really hope bryanb's opinion of Once Upon a Time isn't the popular opinion. Celebrate the Magic was my all-time favorite thing of all in Disney World. I'm bringing my mom to our next trip and I'd love for her to enjoy the new show as much as I loved the last one!

Celebrate the Magic was one of our favourite shows as well and we will miss it. The same as you, we are bringing our parents this trip and it's my parents' first time to a Disney Park and we are really hoping the new show sparks some magic for them.
