On the verge of booking - couple of questions please

Hi all, almost ready to book our annual visit to DLP and wanted to check with everyone about booking with DLP - they've got the best deal I can find (as always) but I've noticed they charge 15.50 booking fee. Before I call them, just wanted to check there's not way round this? I think the fee applies even if you book online? Ideally I just want to pay deposit now before current deal finishes.

Also - re the current deal of half board included. I see there is also a tea time treat, pause gourmand - can anyone tell me where this can be used and what's included? I assume a cake/muffin and a drink?

yes, the teatime treat is a hot or cold drink and a muffin/pastry - it varies a little for variety from place to place, and you can use the vouchers in the counter service restaurants in the parks (not the stalls though). Like the half board dining vouchers, they have the participating counter service restaurants printed on them.

You can book through the walt disney travel company. They have the same deals as dlp, you can pay a deposit and they don't charge credit card fees. The only thing you can't do is use quidco. We did this for our Feb trip, they even sent us lovely disney luggage labels before our trip.
The only thing to be aware of is that dlp regard them as a travel agents (even though they are disney ) Once they sent us our information it had the proper disney reference which we then used for room request emails and all was fine
Which season are you going for this year?
