Help please! :confused3 I am a novice at Mac strollers and would love some advice on which one to buy. For one, I'd love to have a strap to carry it (I've heard this is on some models)... but I know very little about them.

My husband is 6'3" - so something comfortable for him would be great.

Any ideas on how we could get a cup holder on it? Would love to have this too.

Is there a back pocket in any of them to quickly store things?

Background: We purchased a double city mini over two years ago, but I found it too difficult to go on the busses. I love it for walks, but want something smaller for storage for mall trips or other trips to save space in our van.

Opinions please... Thanks so much! :goodvibes

we have a zooper twist. which has a pocket on the back, umbrella fold, extra large canopy, cupholders, recline. I almost bought a mac quest but then found this stroller and loved all of the extras and was a little bit cheaper. by husband is 6'1" and finds it very comfortable to push

The Quest is what would suit your needs best. It has the back pocket for storing small things. Maclaren makes a hanging storage thing that has two cup holders. Honestly, though, the Macs are SO easy to push one handed that having a cup holder (for the adult) is pointless. For the kids, just teach them how to drink from a water bottle that the whole family uses, and YOU carry it either in the bottom basket or in a backpack. That's what we did with our two boys. No need for a cupholder in the stroller for the kid...just encourages you to bring more "stuff" that's unnecessary!

If your kids are on the older end (upwards of 2 y/o), look into the Triumph. It's cheaper than the Quest and only lacks the back storage pocket and the pull up leg rest. Once your kids hit 2 y/o, the leg rest becomes unnecessary.

Oh, and I'm pretty sure all the Macs now have a strap. Go to google and type in "Maclaren USA". From the official website, you can do all kinds of exploration of the different models.

We have one Triumph and one Quest. I use the Triumph more often simply because it's slightly lighter weight and easier to manage. Our kids are older now, almost 6 and 4, so we're phasing out the strollers for the most part. I've LOVED my Maclarens though. I think they are SO worth the money!

We love our Mac Quest. As PP said, it is *so* easy to push one-handed. And DH, who is 6'4", finds it comfortable to push.

We have a Quest and a Volo. Love them both! DH is 6'5", and they're both comfortable for him to push. :thumbsup2

Quest and Volvo here too and they are both wonderful strollers! I can push them both easily with one hand while the child is in it and they manuver well in the crowds. The Quest reclines and has a back pocket the Volvo doesnt have either. The basket on the bottom is small on both and you have to take the items out to fold it, so I dont recommend storing lots of things down below though. We have the soft cup holder that holds a bottle of water well, but not paper beverage cups though. It has pockets to store diapers and wipes and papers, etc. They do not sell a hard cupholder that works with the Macs though unfortinately. It wouldnt work with folding it up, which I can also do with one hand! LOVE IT :) WEll worth the money and time spent researching them...highly recommend both models.

We have a Mac Techno XLR DH is also 6'3" tall. Its got adjustable handles and he brings them up a bit when he's "driving".

We bought a quest sport for our trip in January and absolutely LOVE it! Folding is so easy once you know how, and we found the extendable foot rest and good recline invaluable as it enabled ds to sleep in it everyday. Basket is very small underneath and you can't get anything in and out when the seat is fully reclined. The pocket on the back held a sippee cup, a pen, an autograph book, tissues... it does up with velcro and was great for just popping bits and pieces in! It has a carry strap, but I don't think we used it.

The bonus of the quest is that it's suitable from 3 months whereas the triumph is from months I think. This was a bonus for us, as we hope that we might have another little one in time, and we could use it earlier. Maybe something to take into consideration as you have one on the way!

We have two Volos and love them. We got the universal organizer bag. It has two bottle/cup holders, a roomy mesh bag, and a little pocket. The Volo has a shoulder strap and is very light. You can buy them at a discounted price, as well as other Mac models, on eBay with free shipping.

The Macs are wonderful.

The Quest is really awesome! I agree with several other posters on that. Super easy to maneuver and great for the parks.:goofy::goofy:

We have the triumph which I chose largely because it's lightweight and it has the shoulder strap; we live in NYC so it gets carried a lot on subways. I like it because it's about midway between the quest - which is a bigger, heavier, more full stroller, and the volo which is a totally stripped down, mesh seat, umbrella stroller that doesn't recline. I'm not even sure if the volo has a sun shade. I think it might not, or has a very small one.

The triumph reclines, but not all the way. It has a sun shade and an under seat basket but it is lighter and smaller than the Quest, although the handle height is the same and the manueverability is the same. MacLaren makes a combo cup holder/mesh pouch that hangs of the back from the handles that most people buy, we have one and its perfect. We also have a sun shade extender for the maclaren because the sunshades are a little skimpy and the extender comes in very handy for nap time and florida sun. I think the company that makes that is called kiddopotomas.

Good Luck,
Miss Chris

We have a Quest and unfortunately on our last trip to Disney in September my 4 year old son got his finger caught in the folding hinge. He was very lucky to have not lost the tip of his finger. Please make sure to attach the new hinge covers to the strollers. But - we love the Quest and our new Techno even more!

We have the Triumph and the Quest. The Triumph has the shoulder strap, but less recline (and is lighter weight). For the Quest, we just plan on buying a shoulder strap and attaching it to use.

We did buy the organizer, which attaches on the back and gives us a pouch and 2 "drink" holders. The drink holders work best for bottled beverages or holding a sippy when DS does not have it.

Quest is good from 3 months +, and Triumph works from 6 months +.

This is a great thread, as I am looking at getting a Triumph for our next trip. WE have used a couple of different stollers at the parks adn always see the Maclarens and think we need to get one of those.

DS(4) is small for his age and has has braces on his legs. I don't think he needs a Maclaren major, so I think the Triumph will be perfect. From these reviews I am really hoping to get one.

I'm not even sure if the volo has a sun shade. I think it might not, or has a very small one.

The Volo does have a sunshade. And it isn't small at all.
We've had the Techno, Triumph double, and Volo. All of the Maclaren strollers are great.
