On the DDP what is counter service meals at the Pop?

We leave for the Pop in 4 days and I just switched to include the DDP. I understand about table service and counter service meals at the parks. My question is at the resort, what is considered a counter service meal there? I know if I went to one of the counters and ordered say chicken strips and fries but what if I wanted a salad or sub sandwhich you get out of the coolers in the back of the food court is that included? How do you know what is included?

Everything in the Pop food court is CS. This can be a great deal especially in the evening when they serve dinner type foods (chicken/turkey or mom's specials), plus you get to visit the desert window and pick a wonderful desert that counts as part of your CS plan. The food courts at the value resorts are great choices for CS meals and have a good selection of food. BTW: there are some choices for your snack credit in the food court too.

POP is a great place to stay when you on the dining plan. Most if not all items shouldn't be an issue. Enjoy your trip.

We've used the DDP at POP twice. Last Sept we got parmesan chicken/salad and cheesecake, double cheeseburgers/fries and cake, and flatbread and cheesecake. In May we got hot dog/fries and carrot carrot cake, a large chef salad (out of the refrigerator section) with cake, and one of the Mom's Specials with cheesecake. Since we had bought the mugs, we used our CS beverage to get bottles of water to drink later in the parks,

FYI:the snack credits are great at POP. You can get a whole box of Entemans donuts, a bowl of mixed fruit, a really big hot fudge sundae, large bags of chips and jars of dips, large bags of pretzels and cookies, and ice cream novelties..
