should you go and check in before you go to the parks and come back again at 4:00, or go directly to the parks and return to the resort at four? Would you get a better room assignment if you checked in earlier???? Thanks for any input!!!

We prefer to check in as soon as we can. There have been times (depending on your travel dates & availablility..) that we were able to get right into our room in the morning... if your room is available that would give you time see where your room is and if you're not happy you could see about reassigning.

If you check in, in the A.M. and your room is not ready they will take all the necessary info and give you a business card. They will ask you to call back after a certain time in the afternoon and they will tell you what room # you are in. So that when you return back to your hotel you can go straight to your room and bypass the front desk.

What we have done is go to a nice breakfast, go back to the resort and check out and drive to our new resort and check in and hang by the pool. We are usually able to check in early

When we did it we went to the opening at AK & then got to AKL about 3 & got a great room.

mmmmn, now i'm on the fence again, i was thinking of going to AK for tuskar breakfast and staying until 2:00, then checking in ti the WLV, I want to save Mk for the next day because its a first time for my son-in law, and i don't want to go late when all the crowds have arrived. So, I guess i'll think about it somemore!! Thanks, everyone!

If you plan on using the Disney Dining Plan you will need to check in to use it.

The time you check in has nothing to do with what room you get. We used magical express and we could go to the parks with no problem. If you want a certain room or section I reccomned calling Disney, you can request where you want to be in the resort and they will honor your request with no promises. Hope I helped........and enjoy your trip.

hi thanks every one again! we are using the dining experience card ,so the dining plan wouldn't be a factor, And Alesia ,we would go back at four because that's what time the resorts guarantee that you we be able to get i a room, at least i think that's how it works! thanks again everyone!!!

If you are switching resorts will Disney move your luggage for you or will I have to lug it on the transportation (bus & monorail) from All Star Sports to the Polynesian?

Hi Mrs. Charming, disney transfers your luggage ,just call the bellman and they will take your luggage from your room, [you have to be there] and transfer it to your new resort, it should arrive in about 3 hours, then ,when you are ready, call the bellman at your new resort and they will bring it to your room! If your room isn't ready, they will just hold your bags at the new resort.

Here's another question. Since I am staying at the Poly as the land portion of the land/sea trip and adding the extra night at the All Star Sports will I have to go over to the Poly before going to the parks and check in so I can get my park hopper tickets?

If you check in in the morning, they will hold your luggage for you until your room is ready. There is no need to come back until you are done for the day.

hi Mrs. Charming, I'm not sure about this question, is your trip prepaid? if it is then i would think yes ,you would get your tickets at the poly, but again not sure! Otherwise you can get your tickets before you enter the park or try mousesavers.com to check out any discounts for park tickets.

I would just get up a tad early and go check in before you go to park. Go over to new resort at 6am and check in. Linies should be short and it you do not have to interupt your day.
