On our way - small hiccup!

Today is DH's birthday and we're starting our trip by getting the train from Farnham to London where we've got a hotel booked so we're nice and close to the Eurostar for tomorrow morning

We just arrived at Farnham station and luckily I asked DH (as a joke - he's usually so organised!) if he had the passports. "Yes of course" he said, before his face dropped, he checked the bag and found only his!

I am now waiting on the platform with all the luggage as he is jogging the 40mins round trip to get my passport! Luckily there's another train soon oops! Let's hope this is the only hiccup this trip - I'm so excited!

Oops hope everything is sorted out. I always double check and double check again to make sure we have our passports.

We are in London now having checked into our hotel at noon. Heading for the direct train in the morning to DLP.

My worst passport crisis ever was when I looked at my passport the day before my flight to Scotland and ended up on a train to Peterborough to the passport office get my renewed, as it had expired.......

I was about to say we'll see you on the Eurostar, I'll be the adult in Minnie ears, but have just realised I've also forgotten my ears! Oh dear, I won't make DH run back again hehe! Will just have to buy new ones!

I always have a silly moment on holidays. Forgetting travel adaptors, taking the wrong turns and trying to park in the wrong car park at the airport. But at least you got yours out of the way before it turned into a big problem. Have a fab holiday and happy ear shopping

Not this trip but the last one, i met my ex who brought my stepson christian to Ashford so i could take him on our trip. She came from the Isle of Wight. She gave me his case and I asked her where she put his passport. She went white as a sheet as she realised she had left it back on the island. She had to drive all the way back, then back to Ashford again to get it...lol.
