I just use this yesterday and I noticed that at the end of your return form from MCO to your home airport it only asks for DATE and Flight #. No more departure time slot. Is this new or is something wrong. Every time we used this form before it asked for a time of departure.

I hate the DME form. I have visions of them printing it off and then faxing it to Mears. I seem to recall last time we were there (Oct 2015) they asked us in the airport when we scanned our bands.

Due to funding and accounting policies, DME for DVC has to be reserved by MS. Once that is done you can call DME directly at (866) 599-0951 to verify or modify the DME reservation.

I believe there is a reason for this - it tends to be useless info . Having JUST your flight number & departure date is plenty of data, and allows MDE to know your PUBLISHED departure time, as well as REAL departure time - when it invariably gets changed . "REAL" meaning delayed flights . They NEVER leave EARLY . No magic here - we generally check FlightStats about a day or so ahead of departure - then CALL ME to adjust departure bus times based on reality .

I guess the best way to say this.... return flight times, in reality, were ALWAYS a best guess. Flight NUMBER and DATE can be checked in real time to adjust to airline disruptions.... which tend to occur DAILY .

Which form?

I've used this one sevearl times with no issues. https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/airport-transportation-reservation/ I don't actually remember if there's a time of departure space, but that actually seems like a silly thing to fill in. Day and flight number are totally enough, yes?

But the OP might be talking about the form linked to directly from the DVC pages.

I've actually never seen that form to my recollection, so I don't know if anything's different or not.


But I've never had an issue using the other form for our DVC stays. You'd think if it was forbidden when you entered your reservation info it would deny it. Wouldn't you?
