On-line check in passport vs. bc which is faster and which browser?

Hi, is it faster to check in with a passport or with a bc and which browser seems to work the best?

While it used to be faster to just check-off "birth certificate" -- I'm not sure it matters anymore because you have to upload pictures of whatever documentation you have. Plus a selfie.
