On line Check in at AoA - do I get notified of room before I arrive?

I checked in on line at 60 days out. Do you get a notification of any kind to let you know which room you have been allocated prior to arrival? If so any ideas how long before? I don't HAVE to know....i'm just excited so would like to know

Hi! When we did online ck in at Pop last October, I received a "your room is ready" text when we were on the Magical Express. It included our room # and when we got to the hotel we went straight to our room and dropped off our luggage and hit the parks!

Of course it all depends on the resort and there is no guarantee your room will be ready before you arrive. You can leave your luggage at guest services at AoA and go to the parks, your magic bands will be active, if your room is not ready. Have a fabulous trip!!

I'm guessing you have a uk mobile - in many years of providing my U.K. number I have never received a 'room ready' text. Last visit was July this year. TBH at the times our uk flights land I have never waited for a room.

Sorry, Room Ready Text notification is only available to US phone numbers (as indicated on the online check in page under the phone number field)

in any case, if you're in the UK, you'll have to go to the desk to pick up your magic bands..

did you put in a request for a specific building at AoA? are you in a suite or a room?

Yes I did know about collecting magic bands. Yes I've requested high room lake view. We are in little mermaid room

whatever room you get, i'm sure you'll have a magical time.

AoA is a really nice resort...
i stayed there a few years back....in the lion king section....i really enjoyed it...though sadly i was only there for 3 days!!
