? on how to pay for 2011 DDP

I am not sure if this is even possible.. but here goes: Can you pay for the DDP with a Disney Gift Card? I am renting points for a 2011 stay and since the DVC Member now has to pay for the DDP when it is added to the reservation, would a disney gift card be a "safer" way to handle the payment? Just trying to think of a different way to pay other than giving my credit card information or having to do a 3 way with the DVC Member and MS.

I called MS and they said you can use the Disney Dollars to pay for your DDP.

I think you mean Disney Gift Card. They Disney Dollars are physical, negotiable bills, just like cash. You'd have to present them in person, and this is no longer possible as the DDP now has to be paid immediately, by phone, when it is added to the reservation.
