On hold for CP for an hour !

Started dialing at 6:58 this morning ,in at 7:00--still had to hold for almost an hour ! Wanted Dec.4th @ Rose and Crown at 5:00, had to take 5:50. CM said that everything earlier was already booked !! I think we will try checking in earlier and see if they will work us in. Good luck to everyone else!

I was on hold for over 55 mins. this morning. I hung up. Never waited that long in my life for anything. I made about 10 other calls for this trip already and never waited more than 1/2 hour, most less than 15 minutes. Must be really short today or something.

I'm on hold now. I wonder if there is something wrong with the phones. After I punched in the answers to "Have you been in the last four years?" the phone goes blank. It doesn't disconnect, but no "be back soon" or "please hold" messages--just empty air. Has anyone else had this experience?

I believe today is the first day for the CP dinner package, which was the reason I had called. I was on hold for about 25 minutes with no music and then I got someone.

I got thru right at 7:00 and was speaking to a CM by 7:03. I was surprised how quickly I got thru. Good luck to everyone making ADR's. I was booking a CP package for 12/4.

I too started calling at 6:58 and got the static hold right at 7:00. I got a CM at 7:10 and was back in bed by 7:25, well it was 4:25 here in California. I got the restuarant (Chefs de France) and time (8:30PM) I wanted. They only gave me one confirmation number. Is that what you guys got? I figured there would be one number for each, the CP and the ADR.

I had the same thing. Started phoning at 6:58 (well 11:58am here in the UK), got through at exactly 7:00 and was talking to a CM at 7:05. I didn't have any hold music either, just static. I was put on hold a few times when talking to the CM as she had a problem with the system and didn't get any music then either. I got the times we wanted too, 27th December 6:45 show and an 8pm ADR for Alfredo de Roma.

As I just posted on another thread, I overslept and still got exactly what I wanted, 5:30 dinner at Marrakesh, 8:15 CP for Dec. 5th. I think I waited on the phone about 7 minutes or so. There must have been a BIG rush first thing this morning or I just got lucky.

After an hour on hold (with music, this time!), I did get the ADR I wanted. 5:00 pm CP pkg. for Dec. 27 with dinner for eight at Le Cellier at 7:00. I'm happy, but unfortunately they couldn't promise that our two tables of four would be together. They try, but can't promise. Oh, well...

Finally got through. Not having any hold music made me nervous, but I was only on hold about 15 minutes. Got the times and place we wanted, so it worked out fine.

I wasn't even on hold. I called at 10: 20 & got right through.

My date: 12/22 for LeCellier: 6:45 show Woo Hoo!!

Sigh, called at 7:00ish on the West Coast (so 10:00ish), and got right through. But didn't get my first choice. We wanted the 6:45 show and a PS at Le Cellier afterwards for 2 on December 15. And they were already sold out of the 6:45 show. So now we have the 5:00 show and a PS at 7:50. Now, I think we could make the PS after the 6:45 show since we're fast walkers, but the CM insisted she couldn't. I'm going to try to call back and try to get the 6:45 show.

Is it even dark at the 5:00 show?

I think half of the 5:00 show will be dark. We ended up with the 5:00 since nothing else was working time-wise for a party of 7.

In about 5 minutes and booked CP Dinner Package for 5th and 7th,5th dining at Teppanyaki and 7th at Coral Reef going to 6:45 performance of CP.

I let concierge services make my PS for Xmas Eve, for the 5pm show, wih a 7:30 ressie at Rose and Crown (to try and see Illuminations). I hope they were successful!

Are you serious? We called yesterday just to ask questions and they told us we had to call back on September 26th if we wanted to book CP for December 27th!!

Wow. That's really unfortunate. That date makes sense for regular dinner reservations, but the CP package ADR start date has been out for a few days. Sorry!

I'm new to these boards though I've been reading them for awhile (thanks for all the info). Anyway I just booked CP on 12/17 5:00 show and ADR at LeCellier at 7:50. Does Illuminations still start at 9:00 in December or does it start later due to the 8:15 CP show? The CM didn't think we would make it if it was at 9:00.
