On Food Network. Coconut Sweet Potato Balls? Who made them on TV?

Paula warned about the marshmallows. She said you have to be very careful and not overcook them.
I made them years ago and they were great but more work IMO than just a sweet potato casserole.

And what's up with no butter in a Paula Deen recipe? LOL

Did anyone see the man make Bread Pudding on her Paula's Party show? He made bread pudding with Krispy Kreme donuts.

Oh, I wish I"d seen that. I remember reading a book (may have been one by the woman that wrote the Stephanie Plum, 1 for the money series) that talked about a Krispy Kreme bread pudding that sounded so decadent!

We make the sweet potato balls and roll them in buttered cornflakes and they are wonderful! I have never had the marshmallows explode, just kinda melt.

rcraw45425.. you might be thinking of one of the Sweet Potato Queen books. Darn good food in those :)

I tried Paula's sweet pototoes balls last Thanksgiving. They tasted great, but I did have a problem with the balls melting into a glob! Must be that the marshmellow was overcooked. If you try the recipe---you might try to reduce the cooking time.

Love Paula's show and have enjoyed eating in her restaurant in Savannah!

Okay, it's official: I watch too much Food Network. I saw the title of this thread and immediately thought: Oh! Paula Deen. Thanksgiving show.

Let us know how they turn out, Papa Deuce!
