? on Disney Club expiration

My Disney Club card expired last month. I'm still getting Disney Club news emails from them and seem to remember reading something on these boards about the memberships lasting until December of this year? Does anyone else recall reading this, or should I throw away my card ? Thanks.

I had to pay less than $10 to make my membership last until Dec 31. I got a new card with the new expiration date.

I'm getting the emails too and also got the booklet they send out. How strange!! Maybe we should call Disney Club and get an answer.

There was an option to extend your renewal. I am not exactly sure how it worked because my renewal was up in December so I renewed as normal for me. I think at the end of last year though you were able to call in and have your renewal extended and the cost was prorated. You would have received a new card with a new expiration date. I'd call to double check your status as Snuggles suggested.

After reading this thread, I decided I'd give it a shot to try to extend my membership a few more months. I called 1-888-DISNEY4U. My card expires 9/03 and they offered to extend it through 12/03 for $7.49. Less than $2.50 a month -- I'll surely get my money's worth on Disney Store discounts alone! I'll be receiving a new card in about 3 weeks.
