? on Dining Plan for First Day of Trip

We will be arriving in WDW on Saturday. We are staying at POFQ on Sat night, but then moving to BWV on Sunday. We have arranged DDP for our nights at BWV.

So Sunday is our first night on DDP. But we can't use it until we check in, right? We were planning to do some activities during the day on Sunday and not go to BWV until around 4. It seems that depending on your arrival and departure times, you could lose the chance to use some of your credits on those days.

Does anyone know if there is any way around this, other than actually going to BWV and checking in?

The only way around it would be to checkin at BWV on Sunday morning so you can receive your DP credits to use that day.

I agree - check in bright and early, you will get your KTTW, park tickets and your dining credits. Just because you check in to BWV doesn't mean you have to check out of POFQ.

If it were me, I'd get up at 6a, get a cab to BWV, check in, take a cab back to POFQ and continue on with your day. Have Disney move your luggage for you.

or throw it in the cab with you so you know it will be there when you want to settle in at BWV

If you don't check in early you would not be able to use the credits until you do that is true but you will not Lose them. they are not day specific, you might do a 2 credit meal later in your visit or something anyway you have a total number of credits for your trip and you can use them up till Midnight of the day you check out, you could use them all the last day if you so chose, not that anyone would.
