On day of arrival, what is the earliest time that you can "check in" to get tickets?

Hi everyone! When you "check in" to the resorts early morning, I know the room may not be ready, but what is the earliest possible time that they will provide you with your theme park passes?

Thank you! :flower3:

No problem getting the tickets. They will issue your key to the world card and you can go off to the parks.

I think the earliest we checked in was around 8am, but you might be able to do it by 7, I'd give your resort a call.

We will need to do this next summer. I was told 9am by reservations. We will have park tickets and out DP access at that point. We'd get the room later.

We have done it around 7:00am with no problem.

While we've never done it since the earliest we can catch a plane from Detroit to Orlando arrives at 11:30, I've read many people check in at 7 or 8 with no problems.

I have done it at 7am with no problems. They are happy to give you your KTTW and send you on your way to the parks!!! :)

I believe you can check in at any time. Now whether your room will be ready at that time is a different matter. You will be able to get your passes, etc., but your cards will not be activated as a room key until your room is ready. You can store your luggage with bell services and head straight for the parks. They will give you a card with a number to call to check to see if your room is ready.

7 oclock We just got back and we checked in early. It was about 3 minutes till 7 and the girl asked if I minded waiting a couple of minutes because the computer wouldn't let her make my keys till 7.

YAY! Thanks everyone! :flower3: We want to check in at 7am (to get our park tickets and have time for a little breakfast). So, it sounds like we may be able to do this. hooray!!!

Hmm, those checking in before 9am did your "keys" include tickets and DDP? We were told 9am, but we might come earlier if that's the case. As of right now we'll be at Pop w/o tickets for two nights then check in for our AKL package with dining and tickets. CM told me we had to wait until 9am. Just trying to see if CM was mistaken or if these aren't apples to apples comparisons, thanks.

Yes, the tickets would include everything to which you are entitled.

Hotel accounting systems ("the computer") generally start the new day at 7 AM. If you've ever paid attention when you guarantee a room with a deposit, this means the room is held for you until 6 AM the day after you were planning to arrive - in case of travel delays, etc. So, all those unclaimed reservations need to be cleared out of the system at a regular, predetermined time every day.

Disney's hotel computers are ready to start the new day as early as 7. Enjoy!

Honestly, I'll be sleeping at Pop and not sure I'll be jumping up at 6am to get to AKL by 7am. However, it is good to be informed and to have options!
