Looking at AP's for our 2005 trip I see there are two types of pass for universal/IOA

One is the annual pass and one 2 park power pass.
Right question is with the 2 park power pass there are no discounts,no free parking and black out dates(which wouldnt apply to us because of the time of year we are going!.

So could me and DS have a 2 park power pass, whilst DH gets a annual pass, so we could still get the free parking, and discounts etc, without us all buying the annual pass, thus making it cheaper!!.
And are there childs prices for AP's or do you just all pay the same amount regardless?.

That's exactly what we did this summer (until I upgraded the power passes to annual to take advantage of the second year free promo currently running). We bought power passes for dw, dd, and dd and 1 annual pass for me. Thereby allowing us free parking, 20% off in shops and various discounts at all the restaurants. Just remember to show the annual pass at the ticket booth for the car park.
The annual pass price for children is cheaper, can't remember off hand though by how much! (adult is around $170, but cheaper on line)

Thanks Ian, I couldnt find a price for childrens AP's online, but I still think it will work out more than the power pass.

Im glad ive worked it out correctly, seems the best way for us to go to make use of all the discounts etc, and getting a good deal.

HI jules

This is what we also did. i have a powerpass whilst dh has an annual pass. meaning we still saved loads of extra dollars on parking alone.
