On A Whim I Bought A Sizzix!

Now the question I have for my fellow scrappers that own such machine How much do you use it? Is it worth the investment? I still haven't decided if I am going to keep it. The 50% off at Hobby Lobby was to good to pass up! So what does a girl do?

There are some shapes I use a lot & others I wish they had but don't. If I had an alphabet I'd use that a LOT! (Hoping for one for Christmas, but won't pay more than half price for it.)

So far I'm using the tag dies often and the confetti, splats, star border, heart border.....

I use mine on just about every layout. I especially love the letters and new sizzlet shapes.

I bought a sizzlet alphabet it was not as expensive as the sizzix ones. I do CM alot and my pages are all starting to look the same. I tried one of these at a crop and loved it! Another thing my husband will see and state How long have you had that? and What did you need that for? Luckly for me he doesn't go into my craft room very often.

Kids bought me the machine and one set of dies (yes, the Sizzlet). I picked up the converter so you can use Sizzlet dies with the Sizzix machine, and a set of alphas. I've had it 1 week and 1 day and have already used it on a number of layouts.

I love it, am planning to pick up more dies as sales and coupons warrant. It just gives me more flexibility, especially with the lettering.

I use the alphabets and have some frames. I also have several tag shapes. I want the sidekick for my sizzlets though, I think. I use mine enough that I'm thinking of getting it it's own table/work area so I don't have to keep putting it in the box and in the cabinet.

I got a bunch of stuff at Hobby Lobby when they were 50% off. I got a sizzix, converter, bounce sizzlets alphabet, some regular dies and the fun serif upper and lower case.

I really really like it. The bounce letters have to grow on me because they looked cute when you saw what the complete alphabet looked like on the back but when I actually went to use them it was weird. Maybe it was just the layout I was using.

But so far I love it and I have a huge wishlist at sizzix.com

You're not kidding! That's got to be the worst sale I've ever seen! There isn't a single Sizzix brand item on the list!?!?! What's up with that?

Our hobby lobby was having them 50% off the week before Mothers day. They told me they were going to discontinue carrying them so that is why they were 50% off. I had gone back later in the week and what was there was definatly very minimal.
