It's like summer camp on a big boat, with tons of people who you are probably going to click with after a short time. I found that it's so easygoing, you don't really "have" to do any of the organized activities they provide for ages 14-18. They kind of corral all the teenagers together in common grounds, a smallish space up on top deck with games, a wall-screen TV, foozeball, magazines, internet computers, a chess board, a guitar, and two or three camp counselor-ish people who run things. I started the cruise really skeptical of all the organized stuff for my age range...but I ended up meeting some awesome people who I stay in touch with to this day. The final night of the cruise, was, dare I say, magical.
OH, i forgot. The shore excursions are a must, especially the day they dock at
Castaway Cay, Disney's picturesque private island. I was stupid and didn't leave the ship until practically RIGHT BEFORE WE LEFT...so I didn't even see the all-teen beach. Yup, that's right, they have a teens-only (no parents) beach. Ohhhhh yeah.
