OK this Facebook thing has officially become beyond ridiculous. There is a looney tune girl in our office parking lot, because one of the girls in our office took her derogatory post off of facebook, so she came up here to threaten her and she brought the cops?? She is yelling and screaming at her in the parking lot. Ok its time to do away with this horrible nuisance of a horror known as Facebook.

What is up with this, and why do people give a rats patooty what someone says or does on Facebook?

It is not a facebook issue : ), it's a stupid people issue. If they did not have facebook, they would find another release for their stupidity .

It's not Facebook that is the problem, it's her. I'm sure millions of people a day use Facebook with no drama. I just don't get why people blame it.

You can delete someone's post on facebook if the post was in response to something you said. You can also delete someone's post on your wall but they wouldn't know you did that.

And I agree its not facebook fault. It could of happened here too, would you want the disboards to be deleted then?

A 50 yr old female friend just had a guy from her high school show up at her work with no prior contact because he found her on Facebook. She hardly ever used FB.

She & her husband are scared he might show up at their house.

SICK people.

I've got to say that I doubt very much that the police accompanied her based on your co-worker's removal of a post (because, yes, they do have more important things). The other person must be claiming something else, or your co-worker isn't telling the whole story.

I enjoy FB. But I have a very small circle of FB friends. My son lets me know if I need to tighten up my settings. I also don't obsess and spend a lot of time posting/reading there (I'm guilty of spending waaay more time on the DISBoards!)
