easyjet now have their flight schedule out up till November 2nd at least from newcastle anyways, I am soooo happy our flights are now booked

Oh thanks for that - off to do some secret planning ;)

Yes I've just been checking too but can't believe that the flights on the 1st and 2nd November are well over £100.00, any idea why this would be ?
and are they likely to come down at all ?

well the flight prices are not really much better for our journey there!

I dont know why they are so expensive, I got told that initially the sooner you book the more you will save as the price will only rise as the weeks go by until a very short time before the flight is due to leave if they have empty seats they will reduce the price however that is a risk.

I think they are getting really greedy!

Really ? I can get flights out or back in October from £23.00 but then there's this massive jump in Nov. :confused3

Good news that you've booked though. :thumbsup2

Yes to fly out is £54! We get £24 for coming back though, we are flying out on a sunday so maybe thats why

Great news :thumbsup2
Worth signing up for easyjets newsletter then you'll get a heads-up when their sales are on :)

End of October half term? Maybe demand is high as people do not want to miss the Halloween party?

You could be right and it's definately making the beginning of October sound more appealing, if we want to do the Halloween season again, I can get cheaper flights, an extra day and night free, if we went then I might even opt for the New York hotel as the price is so reasonable, but I'm struggling with my conscience and taking my eldest out of school in the middle of term.

wooo great news that you've booked!! I'm from Newcastle too. I remember waiting and waiting last year for them to put the Dec flights on, it was such a relief when they were.
This year we got our Sept flights booked pretty early, i think they've been booked for about 2-3 months already now.
Only problem i find with easyjet is the flight times are awkward.

luv

I do agree the flight times from newcastle to paris with easyjet are bad, but I look at it this way, we go on a sunday and my daughter would much rather love to spend a day in departures watching the aeroplanes land and take off than spend hours on a sunday in disneyland being pushed around and standing in queues, plus we get an extra day and night free anyways.

Yeah thats true! We went on a sunday too, got there at night so at least it was much less busy. We are going on Sunday again next time too, plus it makes a normal Sunday SO much more exciting lol. :cool1:

so are you going to admit to actually enjoying sitting in newcastle airport watching the planes lmao, I enjoy it, possibly the highlight of the holiday and I am being serious, what a sad time it was when they took away the place where you could just go to the airport and watch the flights without flying.

I remember doing that sometime in my childhood, dad took me for a day out to Cardiff or Rhoose as it was called then. :)

When we were sat at CDG for 4 hours we all enjoyed watching the planes and trying to be first to work out where they were from ~ it passed the time :rotfl:
