well my etoy orders wont cancel so now I have 8 hamsters 2 funhouse coming to me, I bought2 hamsters from cvs in case they got cancelled and now I have a car from there, a wheel, a wheel from ebay, tunnel from ebay, and another funhouse with patches!!!! No one wants the stupid funhouse!! lol i just want to unload the extra stuff for what i paid and be done with this mess! But I cant because I dont have 8 of the hamsters yet or the funhouses but I cant cancel any of the orders! ahhhh!!! Now I feel better

I think a LOT of people want the fun house. I'm sure you'll be able to unload them.

I agree with you - it is extremely frustrating when a store doesn't honor their online orders. I ordered some hamsters way back in August from Target.com. They keep sending me messages that the order was delayed. Then they eventually cancelled my order all together! It was even more upsetting since right when they cancelled my order was when people on this very thread were saying that they were finding them and buying them in their local Targets.

Needless to say, target.com will no longer get any of my business. I will also shop other places first before going to Target.

DD8 has been begging me to take one of the angel tree tags each time we go into our local walmart. Today we stopped and looked. There was a 9 yr old girl who wanted a zhu zhu pet. Of course there's no sign of zhu zhus at walmart, but that makes it especially touching. While I needed them for DD8 and DGKids, I think we've decided this takes priority. I doubt a family needing help will have the time or resources to search high and low on a daily basis for zhu zhus.

DD8 is now on the hunt with me, to find the perfect zhu zhu & accessories. She can really identify with this young girl who wants what she wants. We got lucky and found a pink carrier at CVS right after we saw the angel tree tag. Hopefully, they'll get hammies in soon too. Oddly enough, it may just be a plastic hamster, sure to be relegated to the bottom of the toy bin by summer, that teaches my child the joy of giving from the heart this season...

I just wanted to check in and tell you of my success. My TEN year old DD wanted a Zhu Zhu but since she was 10 I didn't promise her anything since they were so hard to find. Well, I found stuff at my local Shopko today. I bought a Fun House with Patches and the Spiral Slide and Ramp. They also had the yellow hamster - Pipsqueek - but I passed on him. I figured she only needed one since I already spent $50. Did I make a mistake? Do the hamsters interact with each other?

I have overbought! My DD will end up with 3 Pipsqueaks! 2 from me and 1 from my ex. I had Pipsqueak and when I ordered the 3 pack from TRU, I thought I was getting the other three, Wouldn't know I got Pipsqueak in the 3 pack! I cannot fix my ex, but I can trade or work out deal with my extra Pipsqeak. (I am still looking for an adventure ball and totally striking out in my search locally.) I also have an extra teal carrier & blanket I would include...pm me if interested.

I'm really glad I didn't pre-order them from Target then! I had them in my cart, ready to check out with them WAAAYYY back in August, but the shipping was *outrageous* - I think like $25 because they were trying to charge me for an "oversized" box and rural delivery (or some similar nonsense). I decided I wasn't going to pay shipping that was more than one of the items cost, so I ditched it. I would have been furious if my order had been cancelled!

Although, TRU wasn't much better - they cancelled my order then several days later I got an email saying they had cancelled the order by mistake and I could still buy the set if I wanted to - um, no thanks now!

As for hamster spotting, I haven't seen anything except for 3 green carriers lately - not a single hammy or accessory in sight. Although, I see that the second wave of hamsters is now hitting ebay, including Jilly. Maybe they'll be in stores sooner than expected!

I've heard that the new hamsters should start appearing in the stores in mid-December and I have also heard that CVS will have the zhu zhus in this coming Sundays advertisement. If that's true then I assume that they will be in most stores...ALTHOUGH two of the stores in my area said they may have them Saturday since that's when the next truck comes in (in the morning before they open)

Both ToysrUs and Etoys show my zhu zhu items as located instock and have for a few days. Wish they would show shipped so I know I will indeed have them for Christmas. I was hoping to cancel the toysrus order since the etoys showed in stock when I put them in my shopping basket but I am too worried about getting a cancelled message later. Now I just need to find the blanket/bed.

i def will have an extra bed, but you may want to hold off to see if you can find it locally as it would be cheaper to avoid shipping, although it is very light. lmk.

After my nephew saw the Zhu Zhus that my sister was getting for my girls he fell in love. Of course, this means we're short a couple of Zhu Zhu. If anyone has extra hamsters or a fun house I'd be interested.
