where did you go? I went to:
Eagle Creek (found the 2nd u-turn I needed)
Southport
Plainfield (I got the hamsters around 12:30)

all had them this morning 100% for sure.

Washington Square
Castleton
and a couple others had them as well since they went from available to limited availability to out of stock before I was even able to get out of the house this morning.

Indy Glendale had them 'available' as of around 2pm and now says limited availability and Nora Plaza has said limited availability since mid-morning but started out at 9am as simply available.

Also I'm thinking limited availability means they have 1. LOL But maybe someone's stashed it somewhere in the store, yk? Eagle Creek has a 1 zhu zhu item per customer per day sign up.

Thanks for the info! Strength in numbers right?! lol 2 weeks ago I went to Castleton Target and Glendale, both of which were listed as having the Zhu Zhus and neither store had ever had them. That was annoying!

All I need now is 2 bed/blankets. Over the past 3 days of going to Walmart 1st thing, I've gotten 4 pets, 2 bed/blankets, funhouse, ramp, wheel, the garage w/ car, 2 balls & the surf/sleep dome. Whew! I'm tired of looking.

So she turns to me and says "tell Santa he can ship it UPS after Christmas, I can wait."

So maybe I can work something out with our local post office for just that to happen. Of course that is hoping they get more after Christmas.

My DD10 was going absolutely bonkers about these. I finally broke down and got one for $20 bucks on ebay. She bought the track for it with $20 of her own money.

She played with it literally about a day! She said, "That's all it does?"

Total waste....

It was a great opportunity to add to our ongoing discussion about "fads" and "marketing". Didn't save me the money though. :-(

Just got an e-mail from TRU saying that they ACCIDENTALLY canceled my order due to a technical problem and if I still want my order I can get it.

I pre-ordered in August and they canceled my order earlier this month.

We don't have any of them but I made a point to call my two DS attention to the commercial one day (they are 6 and 9) and they watched it and then went back to what they were doing...without comment. I was curious as to what they would say about them and I was pleasantly surprised with their lack of reaction. Needless to say, I'm glad they won't have them on their list this year!

Most Target stores do not have them in the set yet atleast on the West coast. Our Target just put up the empty pegs & price tags ($7.99!) for them last week along with the accessories.

Hopefully, the preorder curse from Toys R Us doesn't happen to me and they cancel my order.

I have learned one thing from all of this madness. If you see it online, move quick because it will be gone before you know it.

See with something like that I'd honestly take at least 1 from her cart, I know DH would take one of each kind of hamster for sure. They aren't hers until she pays for them and if they aren't going to limit then an unpaid for item is simply fair game.

oh get over it. I was venting over bad behavior. I got hamsters already if you were caught up to speed. No stopping resellers from wiping out the entire shelf needed either.
