Had a great nights sleep, those beds in Santa fe are sooo comfy.
we had breakfast about 8am which was just right for us. There was hardly any people there and no scrum for food or tables in fact a pleasant experience. Hot chocolate for breakfast for me yummy yummy.
After breakfast we went back to the room to get our gloves etc for the day then we walked to the parks. The weather was lovely for January really, didn't feel the need to have my hat on but kept my gloves on as i like my hands to be warm.
Hardly anyone in the parks and manage to do most of the rides before lunch including "THE WORST RIDE EVER" DUMBO!!! i hate the thought of the film the ride everything about it , i think its the idea of an elephant dressed up !!
Phil managed to get me on space mountain NEVER AGAIN i hated every minute of it said the same when i last did it in 2006.
Still loving Star tours even though it makes me feel soo sick
Decided to eat in Toad hall for lunch, wonderful food i had the fish and chips and phil had chicken burger. After lunch took the train right round the park which was something we hadn't done before. Got back off in fantasyland and got lost in Alice's labrynth, pity the Queen never popped out while we were there.
Then we shot over to the studios doing Tower of Terror and Armageddon. Went to the blockbuster cafe to have our free hot drink and got another for 2 euros. It was lovely and we sat in the Pirates side watching the world go by.
Went and caught the last showing of Cinemagic which was great and lovely and warm too.
Had a look in the shops on the way out of the studios . It was so nice to walk and look at stuff without one of the kids saying " can i have this and this and this!!"

walked back to the hotel and then saw the time 6.30 , we had been in the parks all day ( this was ment to be a restful trip).

after a quick wash and changed we got the "bendy bus" to the village for something to eat. Now this is our 7th trip and we have never been to Annettes so we thought we would give it a go . (review completed) we really liked it here and thought we would have to return with the kids as this was their sort of place.
After a bit of shopping we walked back to the hotel got a couple of drinks in the petrol station and headed off to bed.

Your trip sounds so relaxing :thumbsup2....the joys of not hearing can I have this and can I have that, can I go on this ride next ,can I eat now,I tired, .....I am thinking of leaving the boys at home :)

Sounds wonderful and so nice to be able to pick up on some things you've not done before. It'd be lovely to not have to eat early :goodvibes

Enjoying reading your report! We love Annette's too and now our trips to DLRP always include a visit!

your review includes two places we're thinking to eat at.

It's so wonderful to read stories of people having fun and being happy and really enjoying their time :thumbsup2

i can not describe how lovely it was to be Karen and Phil instead of mum and dad I love my children with all my heart but sometimes its good to be apart and remember each other for once.

::yes::

Although all of us are going on our next trip (even our eldest who will be 19) we will probably spend a fair amount of time as a couple this time around and we're both really looking forward to it.
