OMG..We did it!!

We took the plunge! It has been a whilrwind 48 hours with researching and deciding on DVC. We owned before at BCV so we knew a fair amount about the ins and outs. We were going to wait for AKV but decided the current sale on SSR and the added 2 yrs of points was worth the investment now. We just hung up the phone with our guide and are giddy with excitement.

We just can't wait to make our first trip home!

Congratulations! I know how excited you must be since we are on the verge of making a decision in the next day or so. My husband I took the DVC tour at SSR last night and are trying to decide if we can join DVC. No one mentioned anything about 2 yrs of points. Can you tell me what this is?

When we bought (just the other day) there were still some Dec rooms left in SSR. That meant we got 2006 points. Therefor, we got our 150 points for 2006 and 150 will be coming for 2007.

It really sealed the deal for us because we were thinking of buying resell but with getting 150 points free from 2006 and the friends and family discount, we were sold.

I haven't booked anything yet, but very excited !!
