OMG... this is so not right (The Office related)!!!

This episode had me :rotfl2: :rotfl:

When Michael cooked his 'man meat' steaks on his George Foreman Grill, the same one that he grilled his foot on while cooking bacon on it at the side of his bed -

I'm paraphrasing:

Michael: "Who is ready for some man meat??"

Dwight: "I want some man meat!"

:rotfl:

Then when Michael claimed "Prima Nocte"

The episode I saw last night was a rerun. Does anyone know where I can find a recap of the episode you folks saw?

You can buy (download) the whole episode on iTunes for 1.99: thumbsup2
eta: the name of the episode is "Ben Franklin"

Michael "I had an epiphery."

He likes to have parties doesn't he. There must be one every 2-3 episodes. I'd take him for a boss. I could ignore most of the policitally incorrect remarks.

The whole "Son, if you watching this it means I'm dead", how to use jumper cables, how to take a bra off Pam/Dwight.:lmao: Dwight asking how he's going to die.

Does Jim not understand that Pam broke her engagement with Roy shortly after they kissed & he told her he loves her? Is he dense? The look on his face when she said to Ryan about him hooking her up with some of his friends.

I was wondering that too. They never really filled in all the gaps about that one. :confused3

Michael: "No"
Michael: "Yes"

Prima Nocte! Ha ha! He didn't even know what it meant!

So, between Earl and The Office last night, my 10 yo DD asks me, "What does it mean when people do sex?" I've never been at a loss for words whenever they've asked me a question before. I told her, "I'm not telling you that." It was the first thing I could come up with to answer her question.

Anyway, my DS asked if that's really how you jump start a car. I explained to him that you have to hook it up to the battery if you want it to start. Michael said to just put the cables anywhere under the hood. :rotfl2:

How about Dwight: "I'm 99% sure he's a fake." (Speaking of Ben Franklin)

My thought was that he understands all of that and can tell that she at least sort of likes him (especially after her going on about how getting a good night's sleep is more important than talking to your girlfriend!), but naively (not arrogantly) sort of always expected her to "be there" for him, if that makes sense. The look after she told Ryan she was ready to be set up said to me that it suddenly hit him that things might not work out the way he wants them to; I don't think he's as "back together" with Karen as she (Karen) would like to think, but I also think he's not willing to put himself out on the line again with Pam and tell her (Pam) what he's really feeling, not after what happened last time.

Basically, I think the only reason Jim's still with Karen for the moment is that it's easier to deal with his feelings for her than it is to deal with his feelings for Pam. As long as he's with Karen, he doesn't have to think about Pam.

That has made it into my top 3 Office episodes of all time.

I think my favorite line was "stripper, can I ask you a question? About women?"

That was an amazing episode!!! :lmao: :lmao:

Wooooowwwwww - you're good. Now I know where to come for relationship advice! That was deep:worship:

Yea, I'm getting a little concerned too that my kids are getting their information about the birds and the bees from Earl, the Office, and Scrubs. :rotfl: Between the 3, imagine how skewed and perverse they are going to become if DH and I don't set the record straight and soon!

Where was Andy - the guy who calls Jim "big tuna" - the one who punched a hole in the wall last new episode?

I heard he was going to be a regular now but he was nowhere to be found last night...I am thinking maybe he is at "anger management" classes.

Love this show!

So funny.

Great episode last night.

In the producers cut that I watched on nbc.com from last week, they sent him to anger management training. He will be there for 2 months I think.

Are any Office fans excited for the return of Lost tonight??

The Lost references always crack me up on the show - like Dwight yelling at Ryan in the Initiation episode: "What is the Dharma Initiative??"

And Andy pestering Michael in The Return - "TGI Wednesday, am I right? Gonna go home, get my beer on, get my Lost on" :rotfl:

Jenna Fischer (Pam) posted on her MySpace blog that J.J. Abrams is directing an episode of The Office - I can't wait to see how it turns out! On that note, Joss Whedon is directing an episode, too!

I can't wait to see what happens tonight since we're supposed to find out what happened to Desmond when the hatch exploded (or would imploded be more accurate since it was underground? hmmm...)
Although, I think I'm still more excited for the big wedding event tomorrow!!! popcorn::

Yay!! Phyllis' wedding date is here!!!! I hope Pam fesses up to Jim this episode!!!

Lost was exciting last night! Like you all, I would love to see what J.J. Abrams can to with an episode of The Office! Wonder how many Lost references there will be?!?

Where are you all???

I was like OMG when I saw this episode.

I think my fave part was Ryan knocking the boquet away. lol.

I didn't see it coming that Phyllis would carbon-copy Pam's wedding even down to the dress.

OMG! Dwight being in charge of ridding the wedding of crashers!

Michael jumping up and down to see into the reception. Although, I was glad to see that Bob Vance from Vance Refrigeration stood up for his new bride when Michael toasted with the Easy Rider line.

Very funny when Michael put icing on his face, too.

Loved the gassy scene. So, how many shows have brought this into the story this season? Grey's Anatomy (George's brother), Heroes (Claude's line about people being gassy), and now the Office. Kevin Smith was right, fart jokes are funny.

Jim needs to dump Karen. Pam should have left with Jim instead of Roy.
