OMG... this is so not right (The Office related)!!!

One of my favorite episodes........"YAAAAAANKEEE SWAP!" With the Ipod. DH & I laughed so hard we were crying. That is the only show that makes me laugh out loud. Hard.

One of my favorite lines was from the episode where Oscar was outted by Michael, and they wanted to out other people in the office. I think it was Dwight who said right in front of everyone, "What about Phyllis? She makes no attempt to me feminine!" and Phyllis took no offense at all but quietly said, "I'm engaged to Bob Vance." Oh, I laughed so hard!! This is the only show I actually laugh out loud at. The subtlety of the actors is GENIUS!

Ha, I liked that one. My favorite line there is between Michael and Dwight. "You need to find out who else is gay." "Why don't you just treat them all the same." "Well I don't think the straight ones will appreciate being treated like they're gay."

yep, they ran extras on hbo here. we watched a couple of them, but for some reason never got into it like we did the office. no idea why. maybe I'll check them out again sometime.

My wife was exactly the same, never really got into it. I think the trouble is, you're expecting it to be as good as The Office and it can't be, I don't think anything ever will. If you watch it with no expectations, as a stand alone series, it's very clever and very funny.

DH2B and I are OBSESSED with this show!! (OK, maybe *I'm* the only one that's actually 'obsessed')

We were both sick over New Year's weekend so we snuggled up on the couch and had an Office Marathon for four days!! (We have the first 2 season's on DVD, and we have the season pass for Season 3 on iTunes, so we hooked my iPod up to the TV.) Even after all of that, I was still craving more when we were done!

I absolutely LOVE everything about this show. The characters, the writing and I especially love all of the subtle details that they throw in, but you don't even notice most of the time. Since we just watched all of the episodes back to back we noticed a lot more stuff. One example is in the episode 'The Alliance' from Season 1, the Party Planning Committee was discussing what to do for Meredith's birthday and Phyllis suggests green streamers (who is also wearing a green top) and Angela snarks back "Green is whorish" Then in this year's Christmas episode Angela tells Phyllis to pick up green streamers on her lunch (who is now wearing an orange blouse), Phyllis responds "I thought you said green was whorish" and Angela says back to her "No, orange is whorish". Poor Phyllis, I adore her!

I didn't read every post on here, so this may have been mentioned already, but a lot of the actual actors on the show have their own MySpace pages. To name a few - Pam, Angela, Kevin, Ryan, Creed, Meredith, a few of the warehouse guys, etc. (Jim & Michael don't, and Dwight did for short time, but it's gone now). They post pics from the sets, and write blogs about what's going on on the show or what happened while filming particular episodes. It's really interesting! One of the prop guys has a page and every Friday he'll post about the episode from the night before. I have some of the people as my friends if you want to check them out - they each have links on their pages to the people that I haven't set as my friends:

I just got done watching last night's episode--this has to be one of my favorites ever, right up there with "The Injury."

I missed this week's episode, but my DS just bought the Season 2 on DVD. We watched the Injury twice this week, and I almost peed my pants. It is truly my favorite episode.

That was hysterical! Michael's exaggerated, sad facial expressions are a riot!

This is about the only series on television that we follow every week. We've watched it since the first episode and still laugh hysterically over every show.

My favorites are The Injury, Diversity Day, and Yaaaaankee Swap.

Last night, we went to the Olive Garden for dinner and had an hour wait, so DH, DD16, and I went back out to our car, DD plugged in her video IPod, and we watched this season's Christmas episode again. It sure made the time go by quickly! LOVE that episode!

OMG! Yes!!! I loved that! I also loved when Phyllis was saying hi to Bob Vance in the pretzel line and Stanley boo's her!!!

Then later when Michael comes out of his office (w/caramel sauce on his lapel) talking a mile a minute about how he's going to restructure the office...so, so good!

Be sure to check out the commentaries! They're definitely worth watching if you like to know the 'inside scoop'. Jan (Melora Hardin) is a little annoying though. She totally sucks up to everyone and is a little self righteous, IMHO. Thankfully, she isn't on all of them.
