OMG-she scanned her DD's report card, AR tests, and parent/teacher conference notes

Can you filter her email address into your junk mail folder?

I have never changed my email filter. My provider automatically filters and sends certain things to a junk folder, but I have never altered the filter settings at all. I guess I could look around and try to figure out how to do it. I think, though, the easiest thing to do would be set up a new email address just for her. Like sandramaac suggests below.

thats what I would do tell her your other email address was compromised, and you will no longer be using it and that she is to send emails to a new address
Yes, I do not have a yahoo email account yet. I think today is the day to open one. :rolleyes1

Make it sound like it is the best idea in the world! "Hey! You send out such great stuff and really keep people informed! Have you ever thought about starting a blog! I bet everyone would LOVE to follow you there! Here are some great blog sites to help you!!!" :teeth:
I am going to suggest that in the email I send to her with my new email address. ;)

I cannot tell you how much it has helped me getting your feedback that all of you have offered. I honestly thought that I was overreacting. I thought that other people must be interested and replying back to her so that is why she keeps sending more stuff out. I thought that maybe I was a bad person for getting perturbed with it all. Deep down I believed it was crazy, but the scanning conference notes and report cards sent me over the edge. That is just nuts!

No, that is not it. The emails that she sent had already been sent to the family members. She copied herself on the first family email and then forwarded that copy on to all of us in the general email. So, in other words, we received them after the family did.

Couple of ways to consider handling this: more or less directly, or innocently ;)
Directly would be to respond to one of her e-mails and tell her while you appreciate the updates, your schedule and commitments don't allow you time to read everything but that you do read her Christmas "letter" and if she wants to update you once a year, around the holidays, that would be great.
'Innocently' would be to again respond to one of her e-mails (pick the one with the most personal information) and say something like, "It looks like somebody has hacked your account and is sending out information about your daughter that is really MUCH too personal to be shared with anyone outside the family; I know she'd be devastated to learn that lots of people have access to something as confidential as school conference notes".
