My DS just fell down the stairs and knocked out an adult tooth:scared1:. He now has a splint across he upper teeth and cannot eat solid food for 10 days and he has to have a root canal on the tooth that came out. I am freaking out that he is not going to have permanant teeth on top :scared1: he is only 9 yrs old:scared1: I am so freaking out, my DH keeps telling me he will be fine but I am just so scared for his teeth staying in his mouth.

This happened to one of my friends kids and all worked out fine. He now has an artificial front tooth, but you would never know. I hope it all gets sorted out before your trip. At least it is 30 days and not 10 days from now!

I'm so sorry that happened! :( I'd freak out too. No doubt. Poor little guy! Hope he is doing better now. And I hope you are feeling a little better now too. You guys need a vacation after all of that.

I feel for you. The last time both of our boys traveled with us, our youngest was riding his bike off a ramp and fell on his mouth on the sidewalk and cracked his front two teeth. He had to have a root canal and then two lumineers (I think that is the word) put in two days before we left. Take a deep breath...I'm sure it will work out fine. I hope he's feeling better.

This is right after my DD has had a temp of 104 for a week and right before my DH has eye surgury.

I am so sorry , and glad your trip is a month away and not a week away! You definitely need a vacation, and I hope your vacation has great weather and lots of magical moments.

Hoping it all works out

My son broke his arm the day before we left for our last trip...luckily it worked out just fine

Disney will make it all better... ;)

Sorry to hear about your son's tooth. Just before Easter (March) last year, my 6 year old got tripped in gym class and broke BOTH of her front adult teeth! She didn't need any sort of root canal as somehow she broke them 'just right'. The dentist put on bondings and she was good to go...until November when she was bouncing in a bounce house and knocked into another girl. :( One chipped, the dentist fixed the chip and she's been OK since.

It is amazing what they can do now a days. Hang in there. I'm sure it'll all be OK by the time you leave for your trip.

And remember....Kids bounce back faster than adults!
