OK--I am not a concert person and there are really only two artists that I am willing to spend LOTS of money to go see 1: Billy Joel--got to do that in Atlanta and 2: is Harry!!!!

I just found out he is coming to our little town of Spartanburg SC for one night in June. I CAN"T BELIEVE IT!!!

So: question----the tickets go on sale Saturday at 9:00 am--what is the best way to get good tickets before they sell out--online, at a store that sells ticketmaster tickets (like Publix), or on the phone?

I HAVE to have these--any suggestions!!!

I've always had good luck on the phone. I usually do speed dial a couple of minutes before the hour, and use two lines (home and cell) if possible.
It's kind of like trying to get CRT ;)
I saw Harry a few times way back, the first was right when "When Harry Met Sally" came out and he was unknown. Show was great!
Good luck!

Just don't forget--he is coming here to Toledo and I didn't know until 5 days after tix went on sale--all the expensive seats were gone and the ones left weren't worth it :( . Maybe next time.

I always get mine online. I open the ticketmaster window a few minutes before they go on sale, and keep hitting refresh until it lets me order. I always have pretty decent luck that way. Sometimes I even have 2 windows open, one on my laptop and one on my desktop.

I think I'm going to try the online thing. I hope it works. I already printed out the seating chart, so I'll know where the tickets are and can decide quickly!!

YIKES--I'm so excited.

Good luck to you!! We saw him December 23 here in Philadelphia and it was AWESOME!! The tickets sold VERY quickly. We had great seats, but you had to move fast.

I hope you have a terrific time!!:D

One thing about online - when I tried to get tickets for Elton John it kept giving me random seats - ie obstructed view even though it was only a few minutes past the sale time.
I had a seat chart infront of me, and I had to try about 5 different times to get decent seats.

Why don't you try both phone and online? At least to can pick from the better of the two.

Good luck!

I have had good luck with the phone. Just call the second they go on sale and tell them you want good seats!

Harry is so sexy! ::yes::

if you do online, see if you can preregister all your information. The first time we used it, it took us so long to enter name, address, credit card info, etc. that I was going nuts thinking all the tickets would be gone. Also, they seem to sell tickets in order no by best seats available. What I mean is we looked up the first pair of tickets offered to us and they were at the far end of the theater on the first floor (I figured everyone would be standing so I wouldn't see anything). I turned those down and looked up another pair, they were selling really fast and now were all the way over on the side but only about 5 rows up. Much better view.
