OMG is my luck changing for the better!!

Each year we have a raffle at work to raise funds for a children's charity, I often buy a strip of raffle tickets as one of the prizes is an extra week's leave from work. I don't win anything but the money goes to a good cause, well my friend at work asked me and a colleague if we wanted any this year so we said yes and paid up. We got our tickets and thought no more about it. Well I walked through the door yesterday and encountered a couple of people who said "hello winner" but didn't twig not yet in the work mode so to speak. Well you could have knocked me down with a feather when my colleagues said I had won a prize A nice bottle of white wine and a tin of Roses nice

It's been the first thing I've won in about ten years, the last time being some book vouchers at the Mother and Baby group I used to take Ethan to. So last night we had the wine and pizza from Domino's (Two for Tuesday deal) and just chilled out for the night since Niel didn't need to be up early today which was lovely. It wasn't a lottery win but very much appreciated all the same and worth a lot to us.

It was a welcome surprise to say the least I'm just going to save the Roses until Christmas Day iIt's very tempting for Ethan though seeing the tin sat there unopened he keeps pleading for some but he'd soon get fed up..he's the only kid we know who still has Christmas selection box sweets and Easter Now if it had been Celebrations I know they would have gone by now
