Omg! I just won the Narnia Teleporters!

I was the same way as many of u for the longest time and almost gave up hope when the screen popped up saying that i had gotten it too. And many of my friends were in my room riding around when it came up. U all were just the good luck charm i needed.

I had my pop up blockers off. I made sure by going into my Internet options and under the Advanced options I made sure that the blocker was also turned off. Also under the privacy tab I made sure that the pop up blocker was not checked.

I looked under the my Internet Options and I don't see anything about pop-ups.
I looked under the Advanced options and there is nothing there that says "pop-ups" in those words. Are there other wordings there that mean pop-ups?

well I play for three hours straight and no wardrobe here. FYI I staff ride = 3.75 narnia windows. We;; I got 2,000 credits riding around but alast no teleporters. Congrats to you lucky winners

ROFL! That's so funny, Belle, because yesterday when I was playing I kept humming the "I've got a Golden Ticket" song in my head. The frenzy over the teleporters totally reminds me of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory! I guess I should try singing "I've Got a Teleporter" instead

I'm just wondering, does hitting F5 in the actual game window and clicking play work for sure? It seems like it should but I'm just wondering if anyone using that strategy has won yet, or is it just the people closing it and re-clicking?

LOL I actually ran through the thought of wouldn't it be nice to have the Salt's resources and have hundreds of people sitting in rows with laptops and continually playing the game to get me teleporters lol

Just think- I get them it is great- but I have two kids and a husband who also want them- and actually my first set will go to my Narnia obsessed dd lol
I will just have it link with one of my rooms... (wishful thinking)

You don't play the entire game. All you do is click on the menu, narnia adventure, play, and then if it doesn't say you got the teleporters, you close the window and repeat.

O-M-G!!! You are telling me that I have played that game in its entirety over 50 times for no reason!?!?! That is just WRONG!! LOL!

Thank you for the new sanity. I keep telling myself, it is JUST a graphic. And yet, guess what I am going to do as soon as I post this message? LOL!

I looked under the my Internet Options and I don't see anything about pop-ups...

On my computer (Windows XP Home with Internet Explorer 6 SP2) it is on the bottom of the Privacy tab page of Internet Options.

There is also another area where I went to turn off the pop up blockers besides the Privacy tab under internet options. There is also a security tab and the default level is normally set to Medium.

If you change it to custom level you can go in and see the actually settings. Here is where the pop up was "enabled" in spite of the box not being checked under the privacy tab. So I checked "disable" and then apply. I did not change any other settings in the custom level except this one item.

Woohoo! I finally got one! I was so excited I had to join the DIS boards just to let you know! (I've been reading them for over a year.)

It doesn't popup another window so I'm certain that popup blockers will not cause a problem.

Here is exactly what I did:
1) Start the game, see the Yes/No Hide-n-Seek screen
2) Hit F5 to refresh the window
3) Click the Play button
4) If I see the Yes/No Hide-n-Seek screen, I hit F5 and repeat until I see the wardrobe circle!

I thought it would be fun to count how many times I tried but it turns out to be pretty darn depressing. I did it 3868 times before winning! I'm not joking. Good luck, but you have to be very patient and bordering on OC disorder to win!!!

Well congrats and welcome to the DIS.

I don't know how you could have counted that many. I would have stopped counting after about a 100.

I still haven't won any yet. Yesterday I played 2 windows for a total of 4 hours and never got anything. ::

But I'll be trying again tonight after I get home.
