okay so me and dbf went on our first vaca together and had a super magical time-- free dining and stayed at CBR. we were stuffed 24/7 and the whole time i just kept smelling and wanting corn dogs... but i was too full!! i figured somehow within 6 days i would want one... but the only time i wasnt super full... was the morning and they werent open yet!! so here it goes:
Day 1
ABC Commissary - not bad for lunch, seriously! he had a good bacon cheeseburger and fries, i had the fish. it was fast food-- no complaints.
Planet Hollywood - he had steak fajitas and i had the ny strip and mashed potatoes. it was good, noisy, crowded--really crowed. would probably do it again... but not my first choice.
Day 2
Yak n Yeti -- the rice was doughy and my honey chicken was mushy... he was in love with the kung pao beef--said it was amazing.
Cape May Cafe-- ooooooh crab legs i love you. my favorite meal. food was great, macaroni and cheese was super yum, prime rib was delish and he love the cornbread. this is the only place we are repeating in may.
Day 3
Liberty Inn - eh, fast food. not great... so many better things to eat at epcot, i'm really disappointed we did this. i had chicken nuggets and he had a cheeseburger. so lame. not that tasty.
Teppan Edo-- yum yum yum!! i had filet, he had sirlion and chicken. we split the tempura appy and it was good too!! the chef was talented, funny and super nice to use since we both are allergic to mushrooms! we had a fun table of strangers too! very very good meal.
Day 4
Cosmic Rays - this was a pretty good lunch. he had philly cheese steak with saratoga chips and i had a grilled chicken sandwich with fries. this place gets a thumbs up with me cuz they have cheese in their condiments for the fries... my weakness!!
Crystal Palace-- i had 3 good things here... a picture with eeyore, a picture with tigger, and a picture with piglet. food was bleh bleh, mac and cheese was gross, desserts were not super, meat was fatty, and the dishes were too odd for my taste. i was unhappy and this was the only meal the whole time i wish i didnt have. he felt the same. i read a lot of good stuff about it.... but it just wasnt for us.
Day 5
Cantina de San Angel - i liked my nachos... well i loved my nachos and my churro... he thought his meal was good and his dessert was good too. good choice made by him, even tho i was resistant to try it after bad reviews. i'm gonna go here again
Kona Kafe - i canceled coral reef for this---- GREAT CHOICE. service was great, they were sensitive to my nut allergy (i'm allergic to everything, lol). we both had the steak and it was fantastic. they fixed the fondue dessert for me so i didnt have anything i was allergic to and his creme brulee was practically licked clean
This was his favorite meal.
Day 6
Tony's - we wanted to have a good hearty lunch before we sat at the airport and flew home. we've read mixed reviews but love italian. i went with the spaghetti and meatballs and he had chicken parm.... we both loved it very much. it was such a romantic setting with the lady and the tramp theme. i would love to go there again for dinner when my mind is more clear and i'm not worried about time and planes and packing lol.

A couple days I walked down to Old Port Royale and got a mickey waffle with strawberries and bacon -- very good-- and the hot chocolate just seemed to hit the spot there, i dunno why.

we had fudge, pretzels with milk chocolate and peanut butter chips, lots of frozen bananas, waffle cones, kakigori shaved ice... all very good!
-- and i threw my cotton candy away... too potent of a flavor.
