I got married at the Swan in January. I absolutely loved it. You can pm me any questions you might have and I will try to answer them. I was actually married on the beach at the Swan. We had a simple package like $1200, I think was the final bill. We took out a lot of the extras. I think in our package we had a 2 tier cake, beach location, dressing room for the day, officiant, cokes, and sparkling apple cider. Rev. Knox was our officiant and he was wonderful. He did exactly what we requested. I had 2 planners through Just Marry!, Amy and Caroline and they were really nice. The cake cutting ceremony was by the pool and we got some amazing pictures. We ended up moving inside since it was only 50 something degrees for the small reception. After the cake cutting reception we went to Ohana's for our actual dinner reception. That was very nice. Thanks so much purple!!!! I fianlly got through at group sales and got an idea of how to get the fantasmic package going. Waiting on my family to reply to the invitation It just sounds FABULOUS! Noticed that Fantasmic seems to be the longest of the "spectaculars" making it an even better choice. When is your wedding? God knows I will be posting pics here so future swan brides will have it alot easier! ****MYMELODY, I found a few pics online. I know you wanted to see actual weddings and my DF found a couple and showed me the pics but didn't bookmark them Now, I can't go back to them either!!!! When is your wedding?? I would love to know about how your planning is going. I can't come up with anything right now not seeing pics to make my mind up is driving me crazy and I am driving everyone else crazy so hopefully you can share some of your things with me to help me out. I hope you remember the pics you saw so that you can share with me.

Well....I am getting married on 8/20/2008 at the swan's west courtyard...Am finding the planning quite tough and regretting that I didn't just have an escape wedding. WAY too late to cancel now though. I dunno, we'll see.... I just feel swamped! There is no real site/board dedicated to Swan weddings so it's hard to know "what you're getting" y/k? I got a really good estimate from Buena Vista Palace and declined since it just didnt feel the same as being in the middle of Disney. The best advice I could give anyone in my situation would be EXPLORE ALL OF YOUR OPTIONS!!! I am currently at just over $3000 for 12 People NOT including the reception meal!!!! I should have just booked an escape package. It also seems that everything I ask for is this huge issue. Sorry for my squawking ANYWAY I pledge to post pics and info when my wedding is over so you guys can see what the place is really like. If anyone will be around there at that time, feel free to look me up Thanks for "listening" and thanks for all of your help you guys are the bestest

At one point I was going to post a trip report, but I go caught up with school. I even started writing one out, but got distracted. If other Swan brides are having troubles maybe I should. I know I had a lot of questions when I was in my planning phase, so I know the frustrations.

Wow, I can feel the love from both of you thanks so much for writing. It is horrible that no one has posted pictures or anything from the swan/dolphin weddings cause I know they have had a lot of weddings there
but nothing can be done unless people take the same amount of time to post those wedding on here like the DFTW or Escape. I would love one of those but with 2 kids a dog and a home being a stay at home mom the budget does not allow me to do one of those amazing Disney weddings. So I will take the second best. So hope both of you and your planning help me out and I am sure you are going to both be amazing and having a wonderful event..
