DH agreed to let me pick our first kid free trip and I chose Disney! I am super excited, have booked our plane tix (they were free from being bumped off my LAST trip to Disney last Thanksgiving, woohoo) and now to decide WHERE to stay. I'd love to do a Deluxe. Any advice on our first adult only trip? (besides resort advice) CAN NOT WAIT!!

Thinking of doing our first adult trip, and first trip in a LONG time, in the spring of 2017 for my 40th. I' m hoping to stay at the Poly!!!

We did our first adult only last summer. We had 16 days. It was a little strange at first but we didn't feel tied to the parks. We decided every evening what to do. Didn't plan too far ahead. Spent a few days at water parks but best of all had a few drinks in the bar every evening before heading back to the room. We never spoke to each other so much as we did on that break. Booked for next summer. Enjoy, it was great for us.

Our first "adult" trip was this year - stayed at the Beach Club.
It was totally worth it for the ability to walk to Epcot and HS.

I really enjoyed the pool area, it's so large that it wasn't really crowded during our trip in late August.

I'd pick BC/YC or BW resorts, even Swan/Dolphin....due to close proximity to Epcot/HS! Would be nice to be so close to both.

We made many adult trips the the BWI. We loved it for the ability to wander over to Epcot in the evenings. I don't think you could go wrong with any of the Epcot resorts.

Our favorite would be WL great location. We took the boat to CR and got coffee in the mornings and then went to parks from there. Without the kids we didn't rush as much. Enjoyed having snacks in the bar by Artist Point.

Rent a boat for a while and cruise around seven seas lagoon and bay lake

My boyfriend and I are going in February '16, and it will be my first trip without my 3 kids!!! I've taken them on 20+ trips, so this will be very different. I'm looking forward to an adult only trip, but I'm also feeling a little guilty about not including the kids (18, 19, and 23 yo)!!!
