I had to go buy some more shorts today because one of only two pair that still fit my fat behind split up the back of the seat last weekend! Thankfully I was only going to my mother's house and I borrowed my sister's pants while I was there.

LOL

As I did not manage to lose any weight yet, I knew I could not rely on only one pair of shorts so I had to go get some more. While I have finally started working out a bit I don't think 23 days is enough to lose though 30 lbs I would need to make my other clothes fit.
Thankfully Kmart still had a few pair in stock. I don't love them but with a nice cool Disney shirt over them, I don't think I'll notice them much.
Anyway, I'm getting distracted that's not what I came here.
Drumroll please.....

They are HERE!!!

The shorts thing was mostly funny because my sister and I got out of the car (she drove) and walked up the the front door. I saw a massive spider in front of the door and jumped back just as my sister was say "Um, Sissy...."
"I know! I saw it!" I shrieked.
Now she just looks puzzled.
She then Informs me about the split in my shorts (it's a full split too, entire butt + undies showing)
I am turned away from the door now facing her, hand groping at my backside to feel the gap, when my Step Dad opens the door to see the commotion.
I whirl back around to hide my butt and yell "Shut that door!" (honestly still more way concerned about the spider than my exposed panties)
He steps out of the house, shutting the door and I gabble about the spider! Which he does remove from the door.
He comes over for a hug (mind you I am still in the driveway with my Sister, my hands over my rump) and we (sister and I) and now laughing pretty hard.
I tell him to close his eyes and I dash into the house, still holding my rump, and into the bathroom leaving my sister behind to to the explaining
She comes in a moment later and offers me her pants as she has brought along some other comfy clothes for lounging it.
My poor mother in the mean time, whom had just had eye surgery for a torn retina caused by a random eye hemorrhage the day before (the whole reason we drove down that day), is really confused and patiently awaiting an explanation (mind you she is sitting still with an eye patch and is not allowed to mover her head to much at the moment)


Never a dull moment...

It will be way too warm in September to actually wear this at Disney but I had to have it!!! This just arrived today in the mail...


I am pretty sure that every DISer who has ever fallen victim to "Stitch Eating the Page" can respect my absolute need to have a hoodie with Stitch eating my head!!

So ever since I booked my trip for September people have said things to like, "Isn't that hurricane season?"
I, for the most part, have tried to just put the worry out of my head and move on.
Today I joined the Hurricane Watch 2018 tread.
I will just keep my fingers crossed.

Here's the thing..the terrible selfish thing...
I just don't want one to Prevent me from GETTING there. If one happens when I'm there or even traps me there a couple of extra days, that's what Credit Cards are for... I just need to get there.
Come heck or "high water"

Not selfish or wrong of you at all! I'm sure you would rather be there and at least get to experience your trip than not being able to fly out there at all! Hopefully everything will be ok. Can't believe how close you are!

Note to self...examine plans and see if lunch at Geyser Point doable on Thursday or Friday. To tired right now. Honestly forgot I wanted to do this. Supposedly great value for QS and I want to catch a glimpse of the resort itself.
