OMG - DH finally gets a job

We are so trilled, DH has finally secured a new job - al be it only temporary up until 30th Dec., with John Lewis in Oxford Street, he has been looking for work since being made redundant at the end of May, it has been one spell of bad luck following another. He did get a job working at Heathrow for BAA, after changing the start date 3 time he was due to start Oct. 1st, but on our return from Florida in August, after enduring hurricane 'Charley', the very first letter that he opened in the pile of post was from BAA telling him that due to finacial constraints there wasn't a job for him anymore!!!! Since then it has been one let down followed by another, but went to JLP on Tuesday and they phoned yesterday and asked him to start Monday - we are so excited and hopefully it will lead to something more permanent.

Thank you all so much for your good wishes, things were getting very depressing around here, there was even talk that we might have to cancel next august's trip to 'Mickeys House' as the children call it! we will now wait and see a little longer and hope that this might lead to a more permanent position.
