Olivia's or Boatwright's??? What is your opinion? Which is better?

both serve an excellent breakfast; so, i would do either. prefer olivia's for dinner. not that boatwright's is bad, olivia's just has the edge. :earboy2:

Not that any is bad, but they are only OK. I would have no problem with either one if I was staying at that resort (Olivia's at OKW, Boatwriights at POR). I would not travel to one from the other resort.

Breakfast at Boatwrights is AMAZING, best I've ever had. Dinner, well, it was ok but for the money I'd probably pick the food court. So if you're talking breakfast have a Blueprint Omlette or Sweet Potato Pancakes for me at Boatwrights, if you're talking dinner go ahead and give Olivia's a try.

Thank you for your imput. We are staying at POR....I made a PS for dinner at Olivia's and was thinking maybe I should just change it to Boatwright's.

My vote is for Olivia's - better selection of food. We like it for dinner.

Six of one--half-dozen of the other.
Boatwrights has a slight edge on breakfast tho, what with the Blueprint Omlette.

I would pick Boatwright's hands down. We have had breakfast & dinner there and they were both very good. There Sweet Potato Pancakes are very good for breakfast. Olivia's was the worst meal and service we have ever had at WDW, we will never be back there.

We picked both! DH thinks he's actually Jimmy Buffett ( so much that he has the Parrothead tattoo, the Jimmy albums framed on my living room wall, and we've done the pilgramage to all the Margaritavilles, including the one in the Montego Bay airport, except Vegas), and since we won't have a car to get to Margaritaville at Universal, we're doing Olivia's, which the CM said would at least make us feel like we're in the Keys. Plus, the have conch! When he's not playing Parrothead, DH loves EVERYTHING cajun and creole, and is very excited about the jambalaya at Boatwrights.

Boatwright's has some very unique offerings. Seet potato pancakes, a version of the famed Tonga Toast with the addition of strawberry topping, blueprint omelette, etc... It is a tradition for our family to have breakfast there at least once. Our breakfast experience at Olivia's was dismal. DH went back there during this past year for dinner and said it was by far the worst Disney dining experience he's ever had. Rude! Food not worth it!
