This was a thread we used to have a year or so ago -- it was fun and a good conversation starter. (I was in total awe of what sophisticated cooks we have here.)
Cooking: I am cooking baked macaroni and cheese for dinner tonight (shells are boiling atm). I make my cheese sauce from scratch with sharp cheddar, a little bit of feta, sauteed onion, a pinch of nutmeg, and butter. I toast my own breadcrumbs for the top. I'm also going to do a tossed salad to offset some
Drinking: Coke Zero (boring)
Reading: Exit Music by Ian Rankin This is supposed to be his last Inspector Rebus book; I'm gonna miss my occasional vicarious Ern-Bru, paracetamol, and cigarettes.
Thinking about: Whether or not I'm going to get laid off or not and if I should get busy on my resume... again
-----
p.s. -- I dropped the g's in my present participles in the title just so everything would fit -- rather than as an expression of my regional vernacular... Pretty apparent that resume writing stuff is looming large on my horizon.
