Older child wants to eat of kid's menu

My DD is 11 now, and she has looked at several of the adult menus for WDW restaurants. She says she wants to eat off of the children's menu. Is there some allowance the restaurants make for this? If she wants mac and cheese or pizza and it's not on the adult menu, what do we do?

We don't do the DDP and have never had a problem ordering a kids meal for my DS who is now 14. No one has given us grief for it.

I don't know what would happen if you were on the DDP. I'd think it wouldn't matter though.

No, we don't plan to get the DDP. If we go in August, we will be using the 40% room discount instead.

My 12 yr old niece ordered off the kids menu at a couple places (50's PT and Le Cellier) and no one even blinked. I think they even gave her kids menus. If they don't give her a kids menu, I'd be surprised if they had a problem if you asked for one. I've ordered off the kids menu for myself at a couple counter service places and that's never been a problem.

I (a 39 year old mom) bought a pb&j kids meal for myself today. Not even a blink was made at me. I don't think she'll have a problem.

There is no restriction on anyone ordering a kids meal.

The only problem is if you are an adult on DDP you will be charged an adult credit.

But, could you just not use the TS credit for that and pay OOP.
So you can use TS credits for the adults and just pay OOP for the kids meal for the 11 year old? Or do you have to use credits for everyone then?
