Old Town at Christmas time

We're thinking of staying at Tropical Palms the week of Christmas. Does Old Town decorate for Christmas, and have any special activities going on? We love walking through Old Town, but we want this trip to be about Christmas, since we live in Tampa and can do non-Christmassy things all year. Usually, we're in NC this time of year, and have never had a chance to do Christmas in Orlando. I'm so excited. For anyone who has been to Old Town during this week, (Dec. 23rd thru Jan. 2nd), anything special we shouldn't miss? Thanks in advance for the help.

My family and I were at Sherwood Forrest (a park right down the street from Tropical Palms) with my parents last year between Christmas and New Years. We didn't see anything special set up at Olde Town then.
