OLD THREAD: 2012 Beach and Yacht FAQ, Part 2- May, June and July DON'T POST HERE!

I haven't eaten at either, but I can tell you that for months we had a breakfast ADR at Cape May, but then looked at the breakfast menu at Captain's Grille......and switched immediately! There are at least 3 dishes on that menu that I'm drooling over. Also, not to pull too much from BC/YC, but Kouzzina (7 minute walk over at Boardwalk) also makes a great breakfast, and we never needed an ADR.

I saw a dining report on Kouzzina breakfast a few weeks back...OMG!! It looked AMAZING!! I was drooling.

Kouzzina's is sooooo goood!! DD and I thought it was so good we changed plans so we could have breakfast there again!! Mmmm!!

:wave2: Yay! Thanks for the reviews on Kouzzina. We have breakfast ADR's for our upcoming trip in just a short 58 days!!!! woohoo!

I finished my five nights at BC Resort ... left midday yesterday. It was so fabulous. I'm in my 60's and have stayed lots of nice places, and this is right at the top with the best of them. I did not have one complaint!

I loved everything about the place ... the Marketplace and what I thought was excellent food for such a place, the refill mug, the solarium, the landscaping, the pools were beautiful, laundry room convenient. The burgers, hot dogs, fries, onion rings, hot fudge sundaes at Beaches & Cream were just superb!!!

I missed the DISmeet because we had issues with my DGD and a minor ear infection on Sunday; then whenever I saw Teena in the lounge, she was talking with someone, and I'd think I'd catch her later. Too late, I remembered that she only works Sunday and Monday! But I could see how popular you are, Teena! :) Sorry I missed talking with you.

I loved our location on the top floor looking at the pool, lagoon, Broadway lights. We walked out on the sand, then near the bridge to catch some of the Epcot fireworks one night. I discovered the secret exit to Epcot ...

The place was always so clean, and every single person from desk clerk to housekeeper was lovely. Don't know if I'll go back as my DGD is growing up fast now, and don't know if we'll do Disney again but I would definitely consider it.

Any questions, just ask! Thank you all again for your help.

Sounds like you had an incredible time!

Speaking of embarasssingly large amounts of email messages....
I have 2 different accounts that I use regularly. One (the older of the two) has over 39,000 messages. Yup you read that right close to FORTY THOUSAND messages. The other one is not so bad..... including the stuff I have filed into various folders, it's roughly 18,000 give or take a few hundred.:upsidedow I'd say, there's a good chance that I win.....:surfweb:

Holy cow!!! My max is 200..after that I feel like a hoarder and I have to purge...

speaking of lobster...the place we went yesterday gave us a buzzer to let us know when the food would be ready. Here is a picture of it:

There's a place in Island Park, RI called Flo's (ever hear of it?) that has those same buzzers- they are cute!

I cannot beat these numbers but I can offer a sad tale of saving emails. For 7 years I saved my emails in my work account. I had folders and everything set nicely. Last spring our email server had a catastrophic meltdown and everyone lost all emails that were saved. Some had over 15 years worth of stuff. Even Microsoft could not help us because somehow the failure actually messed up the backup. Now I save nothing in email I think is important.

So excited. Bob and I just booked a 7 night Disney cruise on the Fantasy leaving 9/22/12. So I won't be at work on 9/23 and 9/24.

How wonderful! I am still trying to get DH to agree to another cruise after our honeymoon. He did not have as much fun as I did.

Ooh sounds great. I love reading about all of your vacations on here! Ive never been on a cruise, but would love to try it one day! If only I could get my husband on board (literally haha)

11 days for me, Bob, Jeanne and the Princess herself.

I'm almost done taking everything waist high and below and putting it in the spare room away from grabbing hands. The house looks empty.

The crib is set up and in our room (the only place it fits). Bob keeps looking at it and shaking his head.

Yay!!! Our boys still like to set up in Nana and Pa's room for sleepovers - so that crib just may turn into a cot, sleeping bag, etc. as she grows!

Here is the September 2011 schedule.
October 2011, anyone???

No October 2011, but October 2012 soon!

Another yay!!! Can't wait to hear what you think of it - we'll ask for a report when we see you in October!

Elsiemoo, so happy to hear about your wonderful BC stay!!

That's fantastic! I can't wait to hear what you think about the Fantasy. We are going Christmas 2013. The only cruise we have been on is the Magic (which we LOVED) so I can't wait to see what it's much bigger sister is like!:cool1:
