We were thinking of bringing a few home-based gifts to the CMs also...but being from Masachusetts, I can't seem to figure out how to get the lobsters through security......

Might be a problem!! I have a guest that brings me tomatoes from the northeast in the summer. I miss REAL tomatoes soooo much. Florida has no clue what a real tomato tastes like!!!!!

About an hour away, there's a place in Maine that makes incredible saltwater taffy, but I think BC and BWI have plenty of that!

Getting ready for bed....don't know how much sleep I'll get. I'm getting up at 3am, leaving for the airport at 4am for our 6am flight. This time tomorrow, we will be settling down for the night at BC! Woo hoo! We can't wait to get there and swim in SAB!!!!!

Doesn't Legal at Logan pack lobsters so you can take them with you? I know they used to. And I think Hook & Co. did too, so you could stop on the way to the airport.

I was just there. We stopped in York (and of course my DW had to stop in Kittery!!) on the way home and grabbed some taffy from Goldenrod for a neighbor.

This was after my kids spent gobs of money at Harbor Candy in Ogunquit the previous 4 days!!

Hey!

We didn't a chance to check out Littlefields. We might go back to the Anchorage again this weekend for a night so maybe we can check it out then.

We had a really great time, so much so that we added another night (we got the very last room thanks to a late cancellation!) and just hung around the new pool all day. The weather was in the mid 80's which was cool comapred to Mass from what we were being told and texted. Lots of pool and relaxation time, which was well needed!!

Actually, I'm sure you're right, but I'm not sure what Teena would do with a live lobster presented to her at about 8:30 A.M. Besides, we're actually flying out of Manchester, NH (MHT). We're much closer to Logan (about 20 min), but I'm not a great flyer, and find that MHT is much quieter, peaceful and 99.9% on time, so whenever we can, we fly from there. It calms my nerves.....as does a little pill my doctor perscribes everytime I fly.

Gosh, I haven't been there for YEARS. I do think between an upcoming stay at BC and BWI, I'll come home with enough taffy to last me a while!

Mildly off topic, but I just had a somewhat less than magical phone call with Disney. Now that we're one month out banana, I figured it was time to book Magical Express. The CM I talked to was very nice, but I don't have a lot of faith that she got it right. My DP and I are flying down to MCO, spending the night at the Hyatt at the airport (which I'm pretty excited about!), and then taking ME to the Beach Club early the next morning. 3 days later, our 2 friends are flying down and meeting us at BWI, which is where DP and I will be moving. Then we all depart from BWI, but on 2 separate flights. Again, the CM was very nice, but she didn't seem to be able to really understand our situation, and at first told me that our 2 friends were out of luck as far as getting a ride from MCO to BWI. Then there was lots of heavy sighing, and "Computer, don't do this to me now..." while she was trying to process it. I'm thinking I'd better call back tomorrow, to verify that it's all there and correct.

Miss Teena, the boys can't wait to see you again! We will be at BC CL from 8/18-8/21. I hope you are working then!

We fly out of Providence. I think it's about the same distance, but definitely more relaxing for us than coming to Boston...even though I do work in Boston. So no lobster coming from me either. I could bring her something from RI...coffee milk? Del's (they have the powder to make you own)? I'm thinking a stuffed quahog or an Iggy's doughboy won't travel very well. LOL

As for the lobster...If we bring a live one, maybe the chef at Cape May could whip up a lobster omelet for Teena's breakfast.

Hello all, love this thread!

We just booked a last-minute YC stay for the end of the month to celebrate our 5th anniversary.

Does anyone know how many king bed rooms there are at the YC? I requested one but was wondering if our chances are slim on getting one. Also, does anyone have any king room photos? Doesn't seem to be many out there.

I should be working that Sunday and Monday. I leave on Tuesday (8/21) to go help Jeanne get the classroom ready. Looking forward to seeing you!
