Getting ready to head in for a day at the BC and hopefully to meet some Disers!! Got a shot in my heel on Thursday so hopefully the foot will be better today at work.

Ouch! Hope it is feeling better.

The Solarium in the BC has televisions. I know that the World Cup Soccer game was on for some who wanted to watch that game. I don't know who decides what channel the tvs are on.

Teena, do you know?

No, nothing special for the Olympics. During normal operating hours, you can walk over to the Boardwalk and watch at ESPN. Also, during normal operating hours, the Crews Cup Lounge has TVs on with sporting events.

Thanks guys. If you hear mad English people shouting at the TV and getting excited you know it's us. We'll check out the TV's in the lobby. Not happy with DS going to a bar. I don't take him in pubs over here.

We'll probably do it again next year. I went last year too and I think they've been doing it for a few years. If you want to keep in touch with me, I can let you know when we plan it again.

That would be great; Do they usually go in May?

Although I may not wait that long for my first visit!
I feel a trip this fall might be in order!

Someone else asked about treats delivered to the room earlier in the week. Do you order the milk and cookies, chocolate strawberries, etc. from room service? What about things like the chocolate monorail?

Dee, Mickey has lept from the monorail and it's time for landing-gear up and flaps down. Good luck and check in to let us know you are alive and still mentally well.

I thought you used Disney dining for those special things like chocolate strawberries and monorails?

I was looking at the YC/CL booking categories, and had a question. Does lagoon view CL guarantee a balcony? (One that you could sit on-that morning coffee with a view is so nice to us.)
Thanks for any advice, thinking seriously of changing ressie to YC. I would love to spend some time in Stormalong Bay.

Soo excited to find a thread about BC.. Will be visiting BC for the first time with Family (DH,DD14,DS12,DS10) Arriving 07-07 ASMR and then 07/08-14 at BC CL.. I am soo excited because we usually stay at PORR and this is our first time doing Deluxe

Would also like to be added to the Noodle swap..

hello all -
We are loving our stay at BC! Today is a resort day for us, and we are just eating counter service meals after some last minute changes to allow us some flexibility....
I figured we would eat lunch at Hurricane Hannah's....but I am at a loss where we should go for dinner. Is there a counter service (that takes the dining plan) on the Boardwalk? We aren't picky.

I guess if we can't find something we will head to DTD for dinner, but I'd rather stay here if possible.

Every room on WDW property has refrigerators (from value resorts through Deluxe). No request needed

We did it when it was first offered, so I am not sure of the current cost. I think there is a long thread on the dining board that talks about it though.

I wouldn't do it again (especially since the price is much higher than it was when we did it).

We've done it several times. I forget the costs (I'm sure it's on the restaurant boards somewhere). The best for us was watching Tinkerbell fly right over us - of course I can't get enough chocolate covered strawberries either!
