I have an old Park Hopper Pass from 1994 (the kind with my picture on it) with 2 days left on it. I was planning on turning it in to purchase a 4 or 5 day hopper during my May trip. I just realized that the old pass has my maiden name on it. Do you think I will have a problem doing this?

Don't turn it in, use it. You will only receive the value of two days at 1994 prices when you upgrade it and will be replacing it with days at 2003 prices.

You will actually be losing money by upgrading that ticket because you'll turn in two days of admission at 1994 prices that are still good for two park admissions today just to turn around and repurchase the two admissions at 2003 prices (read: more money!).

Just use the leftover admissions. You'll have to stop at a ticket booth or Guest Relations to have the ticket changed over to a magnetic strip ticket to work in the turnstiles. There's no charge for this.

As far as the name not matching, no problem. It's got your picture. :) You should have no problems.

It seems like I have read that leftover days from passes purchased before a park opened are not good for that park. So your pass should be good for any park but Animal Kingdom.

The exclusion of AK only lasted for the first 9 months of the park's opening. Since then, Disney dropped the restriction and now allows admission to AK for any park hopper pass no matter how old or what parks were in existence when the pass was originally purchased.

Once MNT568 exchanges that 1994 ticket for a magnetic strip one, it will allow them entrance to all four major parks.
