Pier Fries......here I come. Tomorrow my friend is coming to pick me up and we are going there to JUST EAT FRIES. I am sooooo ready, have not had any since last summer and I have missed them. ANY ONE else eat them this past summer

I am so jealous.....I got my last ones in late August. I went last weekend with a friend and forgot to get them? Enjoy and make sure you hit low tide, you will find tons of sand dollars at this time of year!

YES! I had them at least five times this summer! They are the best! I also LOVE the chicken wings at the Chinese take-out stand near the merry-go-round. I don't know the name of the stand, but it's been there for years. The chicken wings are delicious, and they are huge!

It's kind of sad, though, to go down the main street this week. There is a big pile of blackened rubble on one side of the street where the latest fire burned down a few of the shops.

it was a huge store and one that I loved to walk thru. Pier fries were the best as usual. But the majority of the stores were closed. WE also had a slice of pizza from lisas pizza. WAS it BIlls that was the original or lisas. I should of had two of the fries instead of the pizza. Can you say indigestion. Alot of epople were there today and alot on the beach. I was slightly chilled but the sun was so nice it warmed us up. I love the chinese restaurant too. It is delicious!!!!

I went to OOB for the first time in August with my family for a week. Sad to report we never tried Pier Fries.

Pumba- What?!? No salt water taffy? Caramel corn? Cotton Candy? Ice Cream? You simply will have to make another trip!

if you went to OOB and didnt' have the lure of the smell of these fries...omg......they are so good .....the salt air and the taste of them are sooooo good. This area is known for the pier fries . they used to be on the pier of course. then a few fires and an astronomical high tide and hurricane sort of got rid of the pier and they rebuilt it. Since then the pier fries are off on the causeway. Next time you go you have to get some .....PROMISE.
