I am starting to look into our trip for the first week of December 2013. We have rented points on our previous 2 trips at AKV Kidani. We want to try something new. My one problem with the studio is the pull out couch. It irks me that I have to pull it out every night. It looks like OKW studio rooms have 2 queens. Is that the case with all of them?

Also, what are the times via bus to the parks?

Any answers appreciated.

All OKW studios are the same, 2 queens.

The times on the busses varies. If you just miss one, it could be 20 minutes to the next one. It also depends on where your room is located. The bus route is: Penninsular, South Point, Turtle Pond, Miller Road, Hospitality House. If you get on at Penninsular, it could take 20 minutes just to get out of the resort.

I've never had any problems with the buses at OKW and our family has stayed there many, many times.

once you are at the last stop - it is HH - then for epcot 5 minutes or less
studios 7 minutes or less
Mk depends upon the route - the back way - 8 minutes or less - the main way - 18 or less.

AK have not rode this one enough from OKW - so guessing 20 minutes?

now with the route thru the resorts - if OKW has several people in wheelchairs or scooters - then expect it to be slower. it takes time to load those things - so just be patient.

Here are some photos for an Old Key West studio

The more I hear...the more intrigued I am. Coming back for a nap with my little one will be so much more enjoyable if I don't need to pull out the bed every time.

Is there an internal bus and then central bus stop for the parks or do the park buses stop at all the stops I see on the maps?

Theme park buses stop at each stop. Route is Peninsular Road, South Point, Turtle Pond, Millers Road and Hospitality House. There is an internal bus (also the DTD/Typhoon Lagoon Bus) that will stop at the HH first.
