Hi everyone! First time poster!!! We will be staying at OKW in July and I have a question about the chair that pulls out into a single bed. Is it a true twin bed (that you can put sheets on etc) or is it like a foam pad? I was thinking if it's a true single bed then I could pull it into the Bedroom for my 4 year old to sleep on so he doesn't bother my 14 year old on the pull out sofa in the great room.

Thanks in advance!

It is closer to thecomfort of a real twin bed than a thin foam pad. DD loved sleeping on them until she was about 7, even when she could have used the sleeper sofa bed.

I'm not 100% sure, but I think the pad is connected to the chair. There's no way you could get the chair into the bedroom, it's too big. You'd probably need to bring an air mattress if you want a child to sleep in the bedroom.

The chair is too big and too heavy to be moved into the bedroom. It's a piece of furniture with a platform bed built into it. You cannot remove the mattress from the chair either. So your four yr old will need to either sleep with you in the king sized bed, on the floor on an air bed that you bring from home or in the living room with the 14 yr old.

Another option: We rented a toddler bed years ago for my then 3yo so that she could sleep in the bedroom. She was too afraid to sleep in the living room alone. The rental people carried it up the stairs and set it up for us and everything. Worked out great.

Thank you all so much for the information! I think we will probably have him sleep out in the great room on the single on the nights we get back from the park late and on the nights we are hanging around the condo we'll just have him sleep in our bed in the bedroom so we can stay up later in the great room!

Love this board! Lots of great information! Cannot wait to experience OKW - been reading such wonderful things about it.

I don't remember the size of OKW sleeper chair and master bedroom, but I do know that we moved the Vero Beach sleeper chair into our bedroom without a problem.
