Hi gals! And IF they don't have the Tony and Tina's tickets, we'd also need a new dinner plan (because that was a dinner show), so I was thinking what about Pink Taco at the Hard Rock? (Does everyone like Mexican? Get some margaritas, chips and salsa? yum!!)
Here is the website if you want to peek at the menu: http://www.pinktaco.com/

So bottom line, we can check for Tony and Tina's tickets, hopefully they have them because it is a great show, but if not, we can grab some cheap comedy show tickets, and do dinner at Pink Taco.

What says you? Let me know. Those are simply suggestions. I'm not trying to be pushy or whatever, just trying to throw ideas out there. :flower3: If that sounds good to anyone, let me know. :)

I'm good with anything too.

Hi gals! Just a quick update on Tony and Tina's Wedding. This is who I have signed up for that, so this really pertains to just the 7 of us.

As you know, we didn't book the tickets for Tony & Tina's in hopes of getting some the day of at a discount.
When I was down on the Strip last, I stopped by one of those discount ticket booths to ask about how often they are offered. The guy said ever since the show moved from Rio (where Ruben and I saw it) to Planet Hollywood, it's been selling out, and so therefore not offered as often at a discount.

They did have lots of other shows available like Carrot Top and some other magic and comedy shows.

So, here's my proposal. Let me know what you think.....

I say we check that morning as planned for the tickets. IF they don't have them, why don't we do a comedy? :confused3 We've got all these other really wonderful shows planned, and I AM excited about them, but I'd love to just grab some cheapo comedy tickets and spend the evening LMAO. kwim?

Sounds good to me! I'm game for (almost) anything!!

Beth - that sounds good to me! Either way will be a fun (and funny!) evening, so I'm in :thumbsup2 ........ and I  Mexican food!

Holy schmoly - 18 days!!!
That's what I was thinking; either option will make for a fun night. I'm totally game for both. Tony and Tina's is fun, but I really don't think we want to fork out another $85 for it, so if they don't offer it discounted, the other option will make for a nice plan B. :thumbsup2

And yes, 18 days!!!! We are in the teens!!!!!!!

Beth, what movie??? haha, we watched about half and didn't really pay attention, pizza was good. I LIKE him a lot. My bff met him and she liked it and so did my dd and her bff. He's coming over again tomorrow night and he brought me a drink to work today just to hug me.

I'm good for comedy of any kind. I love to laugh and I love mexican. We'll have fun.
Aww, that's good! I'm so glad to hear it went well. And that's always a good sign, when you ignore the movie and focus on each other. Sounds like things are off to a good start. And it's good you are taking these trips. Gives him a chance to miss you. ;)

I love Mexican too. Heck, I could eat it daily and not get sick of it. :)

So your tag really is true, you are easy. :thumbsup2 :rotfl:

Ahhhh, nice save with sneaking the almost in there. ;)

Yay for all of you that are 18 days away! I believe Dawn and I still have 20, but that's not too far behind you all! I'm so excited!

I know!! Can you believe it!!

Hey Wendy, I was wondering if you are still doing OG?

What about Chippendales? We actually have more than enough tickets for Chippendales for you and Dawn.

I'm A-OK without going to the strip clubs, Dawn wont be going to them, so I'm just gonna hang out with her. :upsidedow

Thanks for asking!

OK. Although Chippendales is really just a show, and we already have the tickets, so if at any point you and Dawn change your minds, please feel free to join us. We'd love to have you both. :goodvibes

These next two and a half weeks cannot go by fast enough!! :dance3: :yay: :cool1:  :woohoo:

You sure you guys don't want to come to Chippendales??? It will be fun! I normally would not go to strip clubs and such, but I'm thinking of this more as a group activity to have fun with the girls. C'mon, you know you wanna :yay:

Ok, maybe a total stupid question that may make me look like I have never left my home town in my life......but will we have "maid" service at the condo? I mean, will we be getting clean towels during the week at all? Just wondering if I need to pack some extra towels or no. For some reason I can't figure it out.

Stacie, I don't know for sure how it is at Stacie's timeshare, but at the timeshare we stayed at in FL, they didn't come daily like in a hotel. So you had to make your own beds, and such. They came once mid week, and that was it. It was more like being at home.

I don't know if her's is the same, or if you can request service more often.

Mostly I am just wondering about towels. Do I need to bring bath towels and beach towels? Or are there some there and will we be able to get more if we need. I don't mind about making my bed and keeping the place clean myself, just want to know about towels.

Hmmm, I can't remember specifically about the towels in our other timeshare, but it seems like we had plenty. I don't see why you couldn't call and request extra towels.
I'd probably bring my own beach towel though even if they provide them because typically the hotel provided ones are skimpy. I like a big, long, beach towel.

Can I just say that I cannot wait to go down to Fremont Street and get some yummy, fattening, fried food. :lmao:

I've been trying to be good and eat healthy lately, so that sounds especially good right now. :rotfl:

Yeah, I usually pack a beach towel with me whenever I go places. I hate using the skimpy ones for the pool area. I just want to make sure towels won't be an issue. I have a ton of hair on my head and have to use one towel just for my turban. It gets soaked. Sometimes I can't resue it. So I just want to make sure we don't come up short or I am the towel/turban hog.

Beth: it's been a while since I've stayed on Fremont Street (that used to be where we stayed all the time)--what fried food do they have? (love me some fried food)

Ohhhh Tag Fairy . . .. where are you?

Ok--so I am not doing much tonight other than washing a load of Bella's towels (that I use in her crates at home and at work. Has anyone seen that show Hitched or Ditched? A couple has one week to plan and see if they want to get married--at the wedding (in full dress) they 'reveal' whether they're going through with it or not. :scared1::scared1::scared1: Would not be my idea of 'FUN'.

That sounds like a horrible show. Not funny or interesting at all. Ack.
