I know. It will be here before we know it.

Right now we are redoing my bathroom, so I have tons of stuff piled up everywhere. As soon as that's done, I am gonna pull out my suitcases and start getting my stuff ready. I can't wait!

Whatcha gonna pack???? I could so pack right now, but then I'd just drive everyone in the house crazier than normal with my sad eyes and whining - Can I go now?? Is it time yet?? I try to start packing no longer than a week before a trip or my husband thinks I'm completely bonkers (usually he just thinks I'm halfway bonkers )

But I leave my suitcase open so I can add or subtract as needed. Then I will over stuff my suitcases, and when I realize that, I will try to downsize. But I will end up just grabbing another bag. Then I will add more shoes and then make sure everything is topped off in my tolietry bag.

See, that's the good thing about being in driving distance! I have to carefully weigh everything plus leave room for picking up stuff while I'm away. My suitcase can't weigh more than 50 pounds total Not fair!!

I know. I had thought about flying up. But then with what I will have to pay for my luggage wont be worth it. So I am driving.

Hi all! I am hoping the weather will get cooler in Vegas soon...

Taking out the vanity, sink and cabinets and re doing all of them. Changing the whole theme of the bathroom. Plus we are re painting and re doing all the fixtures as well.

It should be done in a few days.

We re did the kitchen a few years ago and that about killed us. Took more months to do than we planned on, and it just sucked all the way around. Love the kitchen now though.

The bathroom is going from a nautical theme with navy blue and white with gold fixtures, to white, with black and gray and brush nickel fixtures. Not sure how to explain. I will try to take some pics.

I would love to see photos. So you're replacing the sink and cabinets then? I need to remodel my bathrooms in the worst way. I've got this marble top that goes the length of the bathroom (picture a long skinny room) and not sure if I should bring in guys to shine it up or not. I've heard it's possible.

I so WISH It's another crazy work week - lots of training to do, so tiring for sure. But June is almost here

It's still so cold here (so unusual for this time of the year). It's supposed to rain until Wednesday, then get a bit nicer for the end of the week.

It was 85-90 here yesterday. It was so nice!! Today it has been pretty windy, so far. UGH...the AC guys back on Thursday morning to finish repairing the AC!! It was so hot in my house last night......

So I hope the wind keeps blowing today, so I can just open the windows & keep the breeze flowing through!!

Yes, the West Coast of BC gets a lot of earthquakes too. We're on a fault line (a couple, actually). I used to hate it when I worked downtown in a hospital and you could feel the buildings swaying -

I know!! It was horrible last night...we were so miserable!
It is still pretty darn breezy outside!
I am hoping it stays that way.

Debra, I hope your AC gets fixed soon. I remember when we lived in MI for three years, we had no air conditioning at all. Typically in Northern MI you don't need it. You need heat more than anything. lol

But we had a few really hot days each summer where it would be humid and over 90, and those days were just miserable.

I like the second pair.
I am not a blingy type a girl, but I do like the second pair.

It must be because where I work, its Nikes or Doc Martens & no crystals or blingy type of things.
