So today is DBF and mine's anniversary. We are celebrating this weekend due to work and school. I am still at a loss as to what to get him. Last year I got him an origami set for "paper". This year should be cotton. Any ideas?

See if you can find out if we can buy more than 1 of the Ben & Jerry's. It's only $2 and I'm not sure what else I would buy; it has to be at least $15 to mail. Unless there's something you want, Beth, then I could get it. But we'll still need more people to get the Ben & Jerry's. There's also a $10 for $5, can we use that on more than 1 item? I'm pretty sure I wouldn't spend $10 on 1 ice cream cone!! But then, you never know

Stacie, I'll ask Ruben. He listens more than I do. If you get a higher cert, you can use it for different items. For example, we bought a Toll House Cookie Cafe one once and used it to buy a couple different cookies.

I think it's more like Bethlet told Little Churro she was pregnant to seduce him away from his little pastry, but she really isn't. She's faking it until after the ceremony.

(Can you tell I watched way too many episodes of Melrose Place back in the day. )

By the way, I'm curious as to how many glasses of wine ya'll had gone through when you came up with the story and background of Little Churro.

I missed it too

I'm so happy we have no hockey games until Friday now (just practice on Wednesday). Jesse hurt himself on Friday and has been playing on a really bad ankle (the only way he won't play is if he's totally sick and can't move - otherwise he'll tape up whatever hurts, take Tylenol, and go for it) for four games. It's funny because he'll make it through the game and feel fine, but afterward is when it hurts

I just to not understand boys at all. Me, I don't want to feel pain, thank you very much. Hit me or take a check? Not really interested. I do go to the games and cheer them on though. I am one of THOSE moms I yell when they score, wear my team shirt (just in case they don't realize who I'm with by my yelling.....). But I will be glad for a bit of a break.

I got Dave a nice thick terry cloth robe for our cotton anniversary. I got it monogrammed in our wedding colors for extra sentimentality, but since you are in a time crunch you probably can't do that.

I don't think I have ever posted any of them....... just the back yard It's funny because Frank is about my height (I say that, but probably an inch or so shorter, but don't tell him that, 'K???) and Jesse just towers over both of us already! He's already 6 feet tall (at 13 ).

and to answer Beth's question: Fri. nights haul was 3 bottles of Rosa Regale and 2 pitchers of margaritas.

Sat. night was one bottle of Rosa and jello shots.

Sun--nada. We were done in.
